We stayed for a weekend and also stayed for dinner. Valerio manages the place perfectly, is ready to satisfy requests and with his professionalism and kindness, gives added value to the stay. Spacious, clean rooms with large bathrooms. Also highly recommended for dinner and breakfast!

I'm writing this review even before leaving the hotel because what I saw is enough for me to express my opinion. Perfectly clean rooms, equally clean, large and comfortable bathroom. Very good quality food, and absolutely correct prices. Finally, a mention to the kindness and helpfulness of all the people who work here, and especially the boy who welcomed us as soon as we arrived, truly a diamond. I recommend everyone to stay at this property

We stayed here for a weekend. The place is well renovated and the room where we stayed is very welcoming and equipped with all comforts, the only flaw is the bed which was a little too soft perhaps due to the structure of the bed with springs and not slats. The breakfast is well done and features various homemade tarts and desserts (very welcome). Nothing to say about the restaurant service either: well-made dishes and friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend it.

The place presents itself very well: it maintains the appearance of an inn with beautiful barrel vaults with exposed bricks, but everything else is well renovated. We stopped for dinner and ordered an appetizer for two, two different first courses and 10 kebabs to taste. 1/2lt of house wine and 2 glasses of Montepulciano Diecicoppe. The appetizer is very rich, so it is advisable to take it for two. It's so abundant that they also occupied the table next to us which, by pure chance, was occupied as soon as we finished the dishes: it would have been quite embarrassing. Some dishes were very tasty, almost inedible, others (cheeses, cured meats, legumes, fried foods) were very good. For some courses, a more manageable division would have been appropriate (it is useless to bring a small piece of cheese or a slice of salami, or a teaspoon of ricotta/cheese since you also recommend taking it for two people!) The gnocchi with radicchio, ricotta and bacon, the ravioli filled with vegetables and saffron were also good, but they were undercooked so the pasta was rather hard. House wine to forget; it is preferable to take a bottle or glass. We were initially also offered the Testarossa (later no longer available) because, apparently, for the glass, you can only choose from the already opened wines... We were not offered the wine list. We also wanted to try the kebabs, but they are not their strong point (probably cooked in a pan against all the rules of the kebab) and there were some nerves in the meat. Good rating, but nothing exceptional.

We had been there a few years ago, in the meantime we recommended it to several friends who were satisfied and now we have returned! The food is fabulous and it feels like being at home, relax!
