⚠️Restaurant review, not hotel stay. We had lunch on a Sunday at this very charming little restaurant located in Greve's piazza. You climb a few steps and reach the reception area. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and the service is attentive and fairly fast. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the piazza. The menu features typical Tuscan dishes, mostly meat-based. The chicken and rosticciana are excellent. The roast potatoes are decent, but I wasn't thrilled. Prices are average for the area; grilled chicken with potatoes costs €20, and rosticciana with potatoes are around €22. Parking is available, but not in the piazza; you can find them in the surrounding streets and adjacent areas.

A beautiful historic venue in the center of the beautiful piazza of Greve in Chianti. The owners are delightful people, clearly demonstrating their expertise. An excellent restaurant with a quintessentially Tuscan menu. We stayed this weekend and will definitely be back. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our warmest regards to Mrs. Rossella and all her staff. Mario and Teresa Room 6

22/04/2025: Ristorante nel centro storico di Fiesole con una terrazza mozzafiato su tutta Firenze. Sicuramente è questa la caratteristica principale del ristorante che offre una cucina moderna, con piatti di carne e di pesce e piatti fusion. Personale giovane e spesso per questo cadono sui dettagli: piccoli ritardi, dimenticanze, poco professionali. Si mangia discretamente. Tutto sommato un buon ristorante.
19/03/2025: Bonito menú. Buen vino. Bonita abuela. Música extra alta... que no encaja con el ambiente. A pesar de nuestra petición Florantiner filete era casi fila. Aunque Jacobi era muy muy agradable.

10/03/2026: Historic, elegant café-restaurant and tea room with outdoor seating in Piazza della Signoria, the heart of the city. Pastries, chocolates, and even steak (83/kg, fair trade; in the city, even 130-140, "call them if you want..." exaggerations). Caffe 'Fiorentino' is €1 at the counter, €1.80 for 'lieviti' (a price offset by their sometimes substantial size), with comfortable tables inside for easy seating. During Carnival, the 'cenci', traditional Florentine fried sweets, were soft and delicious, and these days, the frittelle, as well as a preview of the classic Easter colomba (offered in sample portions, soft and delicate). The stuffed giraffe, part of the decor, is not a nuisance and arouses the curiosity of children. Dogs and kennels are welcome, as long as they don't bark. An excellent stop, in the front row if you wish, also to enjoy the monumental spectacle that opens up imposingly before your eyes.
09/03/2026: Great place! We bought a small coffee here for $3.50 and got free restroom access.
