Questa semplice correlazione trova QUI in questa Location la sua essenza : Piatti tradizionali Abruzzesi un po’ rivisitati ( a mio avviso ) , molto gustosi ed anche un po’ originali direi …..
Mi riferisco a quello che ho gustato l’altro giorno come Primo Piatto : “ Carratelli ( un tipo di pasta fatta a mano ) con zucchine - zafferano e formaggio pecorino stagionato spolverato sopra ( ….. come se piovesse ) “ !!
….. e che te lo dico a fa’ !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ma poi anche altre cose sono comparse sul mio tavolo tra Castrato 🐏 e verdure varie 🥕 🫑 🥒 ….
Per finire un “ Dolce in Calice “ da leccarsi i baffi 😋😋😋😋😋😋

Location molto curata con eleganza informale. Personale sempre gentile e professionale.
Come antipasto abbiamo preso, il caratteristico piatto, un ritorno al passato, le zolle d'aglio sott'olio, molto gustose.
Per la prima volta ho gustato lo Spaghetto con salsa alle zolle d'aglio, un classico piatto della tradizione, fantastico.
Per secondo il buonissimo agnello abruzzese, sia alla brace che in casseruola, entrambi sapientemente cotti.
Buonissimi dolci.
Ottima cantina e olio, tutti prodotti del territorio abruzzese.

Good address for a hot lunch. Delicious homemade pasta. We were advised a good rosé, which we could order by the glass. Nice service, English spoken. No outdoor terrace, but nice dining room. Lots of locals, a good sign.

This is the kind of restaurant one wishes one could find in every Italian town. Alas, they're becoming increasingly rare. Local, highest quality dishes prepared with care, knowledge, taste, and years of experience that have not diminished the passion for serving a fantastic meal to every single customer. An established family affair, frequented mostly by locals, which is where you should want to go. Open only for lunch for a reason: the kitchen is strictly headed by La Nona, who deserves her time off after her midday campaign.

As luck would have it, my friend and I were directed to this little jewel nestled in the heart of Sulmona. We were passing through after a visit to Castello di Ieri, a very small ancient village of just 249 inhabitants. Gripped by a pit in our stomach we look for a place to eat. On that day all those we contacted were closed, but fate wanted us to go to this restaurant. The place is beautiful, the internal care of the restaurant is beautiful but the best thing was the hospitality and kindness of the owner brothers. But let's move on to the dishes. Let's take only the typical features of the place a real delight. As an entree, a bruschetta with cherry tomatoes of unique goodness, a bread so fragrant and light that it won't fill you up at all. An appetizer of delicious gratin vegetables but what thrilled me was the first one. Carrati with crispy bacon and pumpkin. An uproar of goodness. Then the pallotta on a bed of tomato. The dessert is an explosion of taste and freshness. A gentian biscuit, ratafià and cream. I had a really good time and if I find myself in Sulmona again I will not fail to return.
