La Locanda di Gino In Sulmona

I have returned, for the umpteenth time, to this restaurant and I must confirm with great pleasure what I have already written previously. The very pleasant atmosphere of the place and the cordial welcome of the two owner brothers prepare you for a lunch that will certainly be remembered for the quality of the dishes (all from the gastronomic tradition of Central Abruzzo but with a skilful mix of innovations by Tina and Marcella who work in the kitchen under the watchful eye of Mamma Lucia (a living monument of catering in the city of Sulmona). If we then add the type of room service carried out by Marco and Giacomo with their collaborator Emilio, absolutely flawless due to the consolidated precision and courtesy, we understand why eating in the Ristorante da Gino is always a very pleasant experience and why the restaurant is a sure point of reference in the gastronomic panorama of the city of Sulmona.

Family-run place where professionalism, competence, friendliness and friendliness in the service are included in the price and where the customer feels pampered. When I'm in Sulmona it's an obligatory "stop": it's always nice to go back!!! The cuisine is excellent, it's a shame it's closed in the evening for dinner. Better to book.

It is easy to see why this place has a Michelin plaque on the exterior wall. Excellent authentic Italian food, fantastic service, and even better pricing. If you are ever in the area, we highly recommend going and sitting down for an amazing meal.

Top notch restaurant in Sulmona! The real Italian experience! Excellent food and impeccable service. We come to Italy every 2 years to visit our family, and I can say this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had in life!

Prenotato appena un' ora prima. Ingresso accogliente e locale con aria condizionata alla giusta temperatura. Ci accolgono con una gentilezza e cortesia squisita. Il locale è bello, finemente arredato con gusto. Decidiamo di saltare gli antipasti optando per primi e secondi. Io scelgo chitarrine al ragù di agnello e subito salgo i primi gradini verso il paradiso. Nei giusti tempi arrivano le costine d'agnello cotte al forno con contorno di patate arrosto. I piatti dei miei compagni di viaggio sono stati trovati allo stesso livello. Deliziosi gli spaghetti fatti a mano con crema d' aglio e vellutata di cicorietta, Ottimi i dolci finali ed il vino che mi ha accompagnato nel pasto. Tutto delizioso. Prezzi nella media. Il personale ci ha aiutato nella scelta con grande professionalità. Siamo usciti contenti e soddisfatti. Non è poco. Grazie.

Vero …. GINO ?? Questa semplice correlazione trova QUI in questa Location la sua essenza : Piatti tradizionali Abruzzesi un po’ rivisitati ( a mio avviso ) , molto gustosi ed anche un po’ originali direi ….. Mi riferisco a quello che ho gustato l’altro giorno come Primo Piatto : “ Carratelli ( un tipo di pasta fatta a mano ) con zucchine - zafferano e formaggio pecorino stagionato spolverato sopra ( ….. come se piovesse ) “ !! ….. e che te lo dico a fa’ !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ma poi anche altre cose sono comparse sul mio tavolo tra Castrato 🐏 e verdure varie 🥕 🫑 🥒 …. Per finire un “ Dolce in Calice “ da leccarsi i baffi 😋😋😋😋😋😋 Sintesi : grazie 🙏 GINO per la tua opera 👩‍🍳 culinaria !!!
