we enjoyed the meal here so much that we decided to go there for a second time (during a 3-day stay); food was delicious, the service was outstanding, the wine was fitted perfectly, the octopus was like I've never eaten before and the "sea meets the orange" salad was just ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I go to this place periodically to eat spaghettoni alla San Giuannidde (Giovannino Mediterranean heart), which brings me back to the classic flavors of my land. It is my favorite dish in this place. Really good! The location is excellent and slightly away from the crowd. Very kind staff. L.

It was a lovely place which we reserved for our first night and so glad we did. The service was amazing and we truly felt like we started off the holiday properly by going here. The wine choice was excellent and we definitely indulged on the food here.

Dinner in the historic center. Super service, the Manager was competent, kind and helpful. We took two main courses, gluten free orecchiette with gluten free sandwich (no supplement). Two glasses of wine and booking with The Fork there was a 20% discount.

We were looking for a restaurant that wasn't a tourist trap and offered affordable prices. After some research, we came across this restaurant on the edge of a square, but with a very peaceful atmosphere. Being among the first customers of the evening, we received attentive service. The waiters were lovely, and above all, the food was delicious. The bill was more than reasonable, even with a bottle of wine. If we return to Bari, we will definitely return.

Nonostante fosse la sera di pasquetta abbiamo trovato posto nella veranda che si affaccia sulla piazza e siamo stati piacevolmente colpiti dalla bontà dei piatti proposti. Menzione particolare per le orecchiette con ragù barese e come secondo per la salsiccia locale servita con patate, funghi e pomodorini, così tenera da sciogliersi in bocca! Molto consigliato!

Me encantó cenar platos tradicionales de Puglia en La Locanda di Federico. A parte el local es precioso y el personal muy amable, sin duda repetiré cuando regrese a Bari

05/07/2025: Great experience! Super team attention, we loved the location, the pool and the pool bar (super cool music on top!). Will repeat.
01/07/2025: The room was actually nice, but unfortunately we had the first one right next to the gate! It was a bit too noisy. The breakfast was also rather meager!

10/05/2025: Je conseille fortement ce restaurant si vous cherchez des plats bons, avec des prix corrects ! Ce restaurant se trouve dans une petite rue, à quelques minutes des Trulli. Autant le plat que j’ai pris, que le dessert étaient très bons ! Les serveuses sont sympathiques et ont une patience d’or ! Je conseillerai de réserver une table, car l’établissement est assez petit et de rempli vite, ce serait dommage de ne pas pouvoir y déjeuner !
09/04/2025: Auch hier haben wir sehr gut gegessen. Alles war sehr frisch und toll abgeschmeckt. Hier kann man die typische Landesküche genießen. Lediglich eine Reservierung ist hier empfohlen aber als Tourist eher schwierig.
