We just had lunch here during a business trip: a beautiful location surrounded by greenery and a well-kept facility, the food is truly excellent. The pork fillet cooked in Sangiovese is sublime! The ravioli with fresh walnuts are excellent. The portions are not large because this is a cuisine where you enjoy yourself. Not suitable for those looking for a budget price and generous dishes. The large fireplace in the dining room is welcoming and enveloping. Truly everything is perfect.

I highly recommend this place. Please note: the restaurant is closed in the evenings.

Beautiful farmhouse surrounded by greenery with a pool and excellent restaurant. Friendly staff, cleanliness throughout, and a cheerful atmosphere. We'll be back!

I stopped in Orta and found this inn where I had lunch. It's close to the highway toll booth. It's a farmhouse with a restaurant that's also open to non-residents. The food is good and carefully presented. The location is rustic yet refined. The wine list is good, and the menu features typical local dishes. The price is a bit high for a farmhouse. But the food is good.

We found it by chance while exiting the highway for a refreshing break. A truly pleasant place, with a beautiful view and excellent cuisine, so much so that it even received a Michelin star. Impeccable welcome and utmost courtesy. A wonderful experience, which made us regret just passing through. It would have been wonderful to stay overnight and enjoy a bit of relaxation by that lovely pool!

We chose the Locanda della Chiocciola as a stopover during a trip through Italy and wanted to visit the town of Orte. The inn is located a few kilometers from the center in a very beautiful rural area within an oak grove. The building is very well restored, as is the surrounding park. Our room was a proper triple (a rather rare occurrence) and was very well finished and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Overall, the level of cleanliness in the room was extremely good. The property has a beautiful pool and a wellness center available upon reservation. A couple of things we weren't entirely satisfied with. First, the mattresses, which were really very firm. We struggled. A topper would have been enough. The second thing concerns the breakfast, which is served to order from a menu. The products are all really good, but I definitely prefer a buffet where I can choose the dishes I want, perhaps even ordering coffee and cappuccino from the staff. Lastly, unfortunately, the property faces directly onto the A1 highway and, more importantly, the high-speed rail line. Unfortunately, the noise from the highway and the railway can be quite loud at times. This isn't a problem with the building, but it's something to consider. In any case, the windows and doors are very well soundproofed, so the rooms are very quiet.

Very nice place a few kilometers from Rome. Surrounded by greenery. Everything is perfectly organized for a relaxing stay from the room to the pool. The food is also excellent if you want to use the restaurant of the inn, but only for lunch. For the evening there is still Orte and other neighboring towns a few kilometers away.
