La Locanda del Lupo is a quiet place in the historic center of Orvieto. It is a place that presents itself simply in its typical Umbrian architecture. It has furnishing elements in some cases out of context but a nice atmosphere. The food is good, especially the first courses, recommended those with fresh truffle. Simple service and friendly staff. Excellent location towards the main points of interest of the city

Great place to have dinner in Orvieto, the food is excellent as in the whole region, excellent pasta and meat. The only negative note was that as soon as we finished dinner we had to run away because it was an exaggerated mosquito net :/

Slightly out of the way of the historic center, it positively impressed us with the excellent offer of typical local dishes. Fresh food, cooked on the spot, so the wait can be a bit long, but it's worth it. The cod Orvietana style was exceptional... Courteous and professional waitress, average prices.

The restaurant is very nice, the staff very kind, honest prices and the food very good. However, I feel I have to give 4 stars and not 5 because the portion of waistcoats we ordered were very few (I attach photos). Instead, the portion of umbrichelli we ordered was more than sufficient in quantity.
Overall it was a pleasant lunch and I would happily return!

Ci son stato dato che cercavo un ristorante che avesse nel menu gli umbrichielli alla carbonara con tartufo. Devo dire che son rimasto stupito dalla bontá del piatto, eccezionali. Anche il vino rosso della casa ottimo.
