It was a fantastic experience having lunch at this inn! We met in Orvieto for a family lunch, and despite there being 17 of us, a last-minute reservation, we were greeted warmly and sweetly.
The waitress Angy smiled at us from start to finish, truly pampering us the entire time, making us feel at home, and the cook delighted us with traditional dishes that were nothing short of fabulous!
The dishes were tasty and beautifully served; we sampled the typical cured meats and cheeses accompanied by exceptional focaccia. Afterwards, we ordered various first courses, and the mushroom and truffle ones were truly out of this world, with an indescribable flavor, not to mention the enormous portions.
The final treat was the homemade desserts, which made everything even more special and satisfying. Excellent value. A true example of fine dining!! I highly recommend it.

Passing through Umbria, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant.

I had the pleasure of visiting La Locanda del Lupo, and I have to say it's a truly charming and rustic place. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff were very kind and helpful.
The food was good, although nothing particularly exceptional. However, some dishes stood out, such as the tortelloni and spaghetti carbonara with truffle, which had a truly unique and delicious flavor. The Ligurian-style rabbit was also very good.
Overall, I can say that La Locanda del Lupo is a place to enjoy a good meal in a welcoming atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional cuisine experience in a rustic and friendly setting. I wouldn't give it 4 stars, but a 3.5 with a few more details could easily surpass 4 stars.

We had dinner at this restaurant and were truly satisfied. Both the first and second courses were excellent, well-prepared, and rich in flavor. The welcome was special, warm, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

The food was good, average Umbrian fare. The portions were very generous and filling (especially the appetizer), but nothing special. The value for money is okay. The ambiance is pleasant, but if you sit outside, you have to expect cars to drive past you. The service was attentive and friendly.

La Locanda del Lupo is a quiet place in the historic center of Orvieto. It is a place that presents itself simply in its typical Umbrian architecture. It has furnishing elements in some cases out of context but a nice atmosphere. The food is good, especially the first courses, recommended those with fresh truffle. Simple service and friendly staff. Excellent location towards the main points of interest of the city

Great place to have dinner in Orvieto, the food is excellent as in the whole region, excellent pasta and meat. The only negative note was that as soon as we finished dinner we had to run away because it was an exaggerated mosquito net :/
