A restaurant in the hills of La Spezia. The atmosphere is rustic yet refined. The varied menu features meat-based dishes such as porchetta, Ligurian-style rabbit, and strictly grilled meats. Traditional piadinas, baked in terracotta pots, are prepared in the large fireplace in the dining room and can be enjoyed with cured meats and/or stracchino cheese. The house red wine, Sangiovese, is very good and aromatic. Prices are moderately low. I highly recommend it. We love it here every time we visit this area.

This is a simple restaurant high above La Spezia. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, there are hardly any places like this left on the other side of the tunnel, on the "sunny side." The traditional focaccia of the Ligurian coast is cooked there by two nimble young men in an open fire in the middle of the restaurant, between terracotta plates that absorb the moisture from the egg-free flatbread, and immediately brought to the table. There, the guest fills them, similar to a taco, with delicacies from the kitchen: grilled vegetables from eggplant to zucchini and spicy tagliata beef. Beforehand, we had a wonderful ragu. Truly a hidden gem! And it's only 45 minutes from our house in Levanto.
It's easily accessible via the stunning SP 150 road high above the sea. You can also take the bus from La Spezia.

We were very excited, as the owner was repeatedly criticized in reviews.
We found the service and the owner pleasant. The food was delicious, and the pasta was especially handmade. The open fireplace made the stay very cozy.

A cozy restaurant, clearly a place where mainly locals eat. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff friendly, and the open fire in the restaurant where the meat is cooked was a unique experience. The pork ribs I ordered were fine, not particularly tasty or the portion particularly large, but they were well-prepared.

A wonderful surprise! Just 15-20 minutes from the crowded tourist destinations of the Cinque Terre, this restaurant attracted us with its meat and meat cuisine, perfect for those looking for alternatives to the area's varied seafood options. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, with an extensive menu and a blackboard with daily specials that we particularly appreciated. Delicious dishes, generous portions, and a surprisingly reasonable bill. Highly recommended.
