We dined at the restaurant but not at the hotel. The dinner was excellent, though the wait time was a bit longer due to the lack of a chef, but still quite reasonable. To reach the location, you have to drive along a stretch of road in a restricted traffic zone and hope to find parking once you arrive.

The portions are small compared to the price. A glass of wine costs €7, but the price of a bottle isn't worth it, at €19... this is where the restaurant is rated.

Great views from the back terrace with a beautiful sunset. Food is excellent with a higher quality than the surrounding area. Price is a bit higher than other places but entirely worth it for the food. We will definitely be back again!

A jewel in the heart of Tuscany La Locanda del Castello is an enchanting place, nestled in the silence and beauty of the village of San Giovanni d'Asso. Welcoming rooms, friendly staff, and an excellent restaurant serving traditional dishes and a breathtaking view. Perfect for a relaxing stay in the Tuscan hills. We'll be happy to return! I'll definitely be back.

Este es el mejor restaurante en esta zona de la Toscana. Todo el mundo piensa que todos los restaurantes toscanos son buenos, pero eso NO ES CIERTO! Este es el verdadero negocio y Massimo, el propietario / chef es un verdadero artista en la cocina! Ideal para el almuerzo y la cena. Si quieres organizar una fiesta, llama a Massimo y organiza unos días antes. ¡Él es genial armando mesas para 12 - 22 y haciendo que todos sientan que están comiendo en su propio comedor! He comido en este restaurante muchas, muchas veces y nunca he tenido una mala comida!

The ambiance is refined, the music sophisticated, and the atmosphere invites you to enjoy a quality break. The wine takes center stage: the selection is extensive and well-researched, served with the expertise it deserves, at the right temperature and in appropriate glasses. The accompanying appetizers, from cheeses to savory bites, are ideal partners, tastefully chosen to enhance every sip. My experience with the service, and that of my fellow diners, was impeccable, a concert of professionalism.
02/09/2025: A lovely cocktail and wine bar in the center of Siena. The outdoor seating was a bit uncomfortable and cramped. The cocktails were well-made and reasonably priced.
