Silent position outside the ground circuit. Restaurant with outdoor tables. Quality and courtesy welcome and service. Excellent local menu. In the photos tagliolini with truffle and cinta fillet with caramelized onion. Advised.

A culinary experience every year. This year with fresh porcini mushrooms and truffles. It was a restaurant visit, therefore no room rating.

We had a delicious dinner with polite service. It's very cosy inside. Due to the weather, we couldn't sit outside on either of the two terraces. Overall a bit on the more expensive side. Free parking directly under the restaurant's viewing terrace.

At the Castle Inn You get there after having filled your eyes and heart with the splendid landscape that the Val d'Orcia offers you. An elegant and welcoming restaurant located in the external portion of the castle of San Giovanni d'Asso. The inn has two entrances, one from the square and one from inside the walls. Both entrances have a spacious and well-furnished dehors. Excellent welcome from Massimo the owner. The room is tastefully furnished and the menu is varied, with fish and meat dishes. We ate on the first evening: a trio of artichokes, Maremma ravioli, Florentine ravioli, puff pastry with apples. On the second evening we wanted to try the fish, spaghetti with clams, baked sea bass, mixed fried fish, ice cream. We were satisfied, good value for money. Well attended environment. The castle inn highly recommended.

Beautiful location, delicious food. Very nice service from both the chef and the waiter. Prices are high but adequate to the quality of the products. Large portions, fresh local produce. Very good Limoncello. It's a pity that I couldn't order takeaway and enjoy the taste of the dishes longer. Thank you for your hospitality.
