The most attentive and friendly staff so far in Italy. Food and wine were fabulous - food was so good we forgot to take photos of it all! Highly recommend - but you MUST book ahead. They are a small venue and have a good reputation so get booked up in advance.

The pasta was very good, as was the appetizer. I would have liked the dessert better if it had been freshly made, and I didn't find the house wine to be very good.

Everything was delicious. We ordered a starter, which I highly recommend. It was like a zucchini/egg flan with Parmesan cheese and was spectacular. We then ordered pasta dishes, and they were also delicious. Plus, we had reserved a table inside, and they were happy to change our reservation to one of the outdoor seating areas. There isn't much traffic, which makes it even more enjoyable. 100% recommended

I was at the Locanda dei Tintori last week. I had a half portion of tagliatelline with duck ragù and a half portion of agnolotti with truffle, both very good and really abundant. Fast service and very kind staff, I also had a free myrtle. I will return with great pleasure. Thank you!

We kind of discovered La Locanda by accident as it was next door to the place we went the night before. Initially our reservation was for outside as inside was fully booked but due to inclement weather they graciously found space for us inside. And what a treat. The place was packed with 2 large tour groups but the staff still found time to serve us promptly and professionally. Delicious food, excellent wines and the Pecorino cheese flight was an inspired suggestion by our waiter.

We were there today, May 21, 2025, for lunch, to say divine is not an exaggeration. We were welcomed very well by 2 guys, who served us with maximum cordiality and professionalism. We had crostini with lard, pecorino cheese and honey, perfectly balanced, sweet and salty enhanced each other, a lard of superlative quality. Another appetizer spleen crostini equally spectacular, both 9 euros per appetizer, which may seem a lot, but they brought us 4 giant crostini with lard and 6 with spleen, truly incredible quality. We continued with 2 first courses, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and pici all'aglione, we were able to fully appreciate the quality of Sienese cuisine thanks to these two dishes, the very creamy pici and the consistency of the handmade pasta wonderful. The tagliatelle also handmade, perfect, also the perfect cooking and the wild boar ragù very delicate and tasty. We concluded with a tasting of Sienese sweets, including cantucci with vin santo, delicious and the vin santo was truly superb. I conclude with a mention of the price, which I must say fully satisfied me, 2 people, in the center of Siena, 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 side dishes, 1 dessert, water, wine and 2 coffees 87 euros. A truly honest price in my opinion.

Salve, siamo stati a cena il 4maggio 2025 in questa locanda e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dai piatti cucinati bene ed ad arte,il personale molto cortese e disponibile dal proprietario al personale di sala,hanno anche tavoli esterni.Buona carta dei vini. Si consiglia prenotazione, locale molto frequentato! Lo consiglio vivamente!

In vacanza a Siena e dopo aver visto le recensioni su Tripadvisor abbiamo prenotato in questo locale. Posto molto caratteristico si mangia bene, buoni gli agnolotti tartufati al burro profumato e tartufo nero, gustosa anche la tagliata di manzo ai funghi porcini, anche se chiesta ben cotta ma arrivata cruda, ma in Toscana è cosi si sa. Promosso nel complesso buono.
