Locale carino lungo la strada principale, bella accoglienza, lui calabrese molto ospitale e gentile nei modi, tanto cibo buono, dal lardo con crostini e castagne alla polenta taragna, una piacevole cena

Ci sono passato davanti per anni e anni , e questo we ho deciso di fermarmi a mangiare , bel locale accogliente e pulito , con spazi per i clienti idonei, abbiamo provato le specialità della valle , tutti i prodotti usati di prima qualità,anche le porzioni giuste per ogni portata , ottima carta dei vini ,ottimo i dolci fatti in casa e per chiedere un bel Genepì, staff simpatico e cordiale,veloce e pronto verso il cliente,prezzi giusti ,parcheggio c’è

I passed by it for years and years, and this weekend I decided to stop and eat, a nice, welcoming and clean place, with spaces for suitable customers, we tried the specialties of the valley, all the products used were top quality, even the portions right for each course, excellent wine list, excellent homemade desserts and to ask for a nice Genepì, nice and friendly staff, quick and ready towards the customer, fair prices, parking is available

Booked in advance, we were accompanied to the back veranda with a view of the Alps and a pleasant breeze. We order an endless mixed platter with many typical cured meats and cheeses with the gem of fontina fondue: all of very remarkable quality. Lunch continues with tagliatelle with venison sauce (rich and abundant) and buckwheat polenta with really delicious fontina fondue. We would also have liked to take the desserts, but, after waiting 25 minutes for the order and another 15 minutes following a personal request at the bar counter, it was not possible as they never arrived (for completeness of information, following of the reminder, the waiter assured us that they would be offered for the mix-up, but, to his own amazement, the order did not arrive). Prices in line with the quality of the service offered (perhaps to apologize for what happened a minimum discount could have been allowed, but it is not essential). It's a shame because, without this mix-up, the experience would have been completely advisable

We spotted the Locanda by chance, passing towards Courmayeur..... We had dinner. The menu offers different solutions for all palates, we have chosen three tasting menus. The wine list is very interesting. Excellent wine and menu, perfect service, welcoming and well-kept place. If you are undecided, let us advise you on your choices... it's worth it. Recommended, we will return.
