Andateci, ne vale la pena! Posto simpatico, si mangia dentro ad un alimentari adibito a sala Ristorante. Cibo squisito, personale giovane e cordiale, prezzi più che adeguati per ciò che viene offerto. La gota di vitello si mangiava con le labbra da quanto era tenera. Dolci squisiti, tutto fatto in casa!

Atmosphere is more like a community diner than a fancy restaurant, but the selection and variety of food is remarkable! You can choose from a dozen homemade pastas, prepared with your selection of any of a dozen sauces, in addition to beef entrees ranging from tartare to roast beef with rosemary. Many great vegetable dishes as well. Wonderful desserts change daily, and of course both limoncello and Vin Santo with cantucci are available. “Off the beaten path,” but well worth the trip! A special “shout-out” and “Grazie Mille” to our hosts Serena, Samanta and Simone, to our smiling servers Marina and Letizia, and in the kitchen to Cinzia and Michela! Facilities: A well-lit friendly open floor plan, a coffee bar, restaurant, and shop, adjoining the small village square of Pietraviva, in the Arezzo province of Tuscany. Plenty of parking in the adjoining square. Noise level is moderate, - the music of many happy families all talking at once! Value: Very moderate prices for wonderfully prepared and served food. At two recent visits, full dinner including excellent house wine and desserts was about Eur 22 per person. Pro Tip: Call ahead in advance to reserve a table. The motto on their merchandise is “Gruilli si nasce, non si diventa”, to me means “An Idiot is born, not made”. Pro Tip 3: OK, I know few Americans come to Tuscany to eat hamburgers, but the Italian people do sometimes have a hankering for hamburgers, and this place has a hamburger that is “to die for.” 300 gm (2/3 pound) of ground steak folded around your choice of melted cheese, fried onions and sausages, grilled as you like and served with whipped butter, roasted potatoes and ketchup! Siamo capitati per caso, si rientrava da Siena per una gara sportiva di mia figlia ed eccoci alla locanda....nulla da dire, gentili fin da subito, un ampio menù con prodotti della zona....ed anche un buon vino della casa, servizio ottimo, sempre presenti a qualsiasi richiesta.Da ritornarci.
