La Locanda dei Golosi In Perugia

A very beautiful and well-kept farmhouse with a wonderful pool. The food is excellent and it's very convenient for reaching many art destinations. We returned for a few days after more than four years and it felt like home.

An ideal place to relax and enjoy moments of relaxation. Located in the Umbrian hills, Locanda dei Golosi is a corner of paradise. It offers spacious rooms with a garden and swimming pool. The rooms and mini apartments are clean and well-equipped. The staff is friendly and always available. The restaurant menu is traditional Umbrian. The pizza is good. We ate "A Formaggiaia" and "Queen of the Woods." The ingredients are top-quality. Breakfast is also plentiful and offers a variety of choices, including homemade pastries. Recommended.

A beautiful and rejuvenating stay. The property is surrounded by greenery, clean and well-kept, the staff is young and exceptionally kind, and the food is delicious. We'll be back!

We booked La Locanda dei Golosi as the final few days of a busy trip around Italy, so that we could have a quiet area with a pool to cool off for our you children, but be close to Perugia to explore. I must say the staff at this hotel are outstanding, down to details such as setting up our family table each morning at breakfast including a baby seat for our daughter. Well worth eating in the restaurant too - which now I realise the name of the venue translates to “Gourmet Inn” makes sense! The hotel could benefit from offering a basic lunch service for guests as without a car you might be a little stuck.

The location offers the ultimate in tranquility and well-being. All the staff are absolutely kind, helpful, and polite. There are no exceptions. The cleanliness is excellent throughout (both the restaurant and the rooms). The spaces in our rooms/apartments were perfect and adequate. Both accommodations (a triple and a junior suite) had a comfortable kitchen. The restaurant is excellent, and all the dishes are carefully served and of excellent quality. We had the opportunity to sample many dishes, and everything was excellent. The wait staff is absolutely helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. They are attentive to every request. The waiting time for each dish is perfect. Definitely recommended, and we'll return as soon as possible.

A very nice hotel. Beautifully located and very friendly staff. We arrived quite late, but that was no problem at all. We checked in immediately and received a nice welcome drink. Despite the late check-in, we were still able to dine in the lovely restaurant. The room and shower were clean and fresh. The window overlooked the countryside. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very extensive, and the coffee was delicious. In short, a pleasant stay near Assisi, but much less touristy and wonderfully peaceful.
