This was the best place we could find. Despite the closing time soon, Giuseppe still served us delicious focaccia with his grandfather's delicious home-made wine and cake. An incredibly communicative, friendly man.

Location in the heart of Murgia, beautiful. Nothing to say. But for the rest, everything is very approximate at least in that circumstance.

The Locanda dei Duchi, for me, represents a place that must be safeguarded. For a thousand reasons, including: family atmosphere, typical local cuisine and truly honest prices. I think the real star is the food: by asking for the house starters you are inundated with delicacies worthy of being called such. Everything has that taste of home. The pizza is also good, typical of the area (you will certainly NOT find contemporary Neapolitan pizza) but which still manages to stand out also for the variety of ingredients. In any case, I'll give you ONE VERY SERIOUS REASON why you MUST go and eat here: the focaccia. Inexplicable in words, a true jewel that stands out from the whole world. Crispy dough on the outside and soft on the inside, cooked in a wood oven. There is no competition, it would win even against the focaccia on the stone from the Altamura ovens (which I love madly). TRY TO BELIEVE. The real fortune was also being able to discuss this delicacy directly with the person who, every day, with love and PASSION, carries on the tradition: Giuseppe. He told me about how he runs the business, and of course also gave me some advice on focaccia (which, spoiler, I'm also trying to master as a hobby). We actually talked for a long time, we were lucky to have had the opportunity on a quiet evening. I will definitely be back (and not just for the food).

We ate well. The only flaw THE MENU... to choose a pizza I would practically have to get up and go and read the menu posted on the wall!! It seems a bit absurd to me!

Locale scoperto per caso, prezzi onesti e prodotti di qualità e genuini. E sempre bello conoscere posti dove i sapori sono buoni come quelli di una volta.

It was Sunday lunchtime and there was a menu without a card, it was a surprise and totally delicious. There were several courses and we ate for 3 hours.

Super warm and familiar. Best foccacia in all of Italy. Perfect service and incredibly tasty. No matter what food. Fantastico
