What a fantastic choice for our first visit to Genoa! Traditional Genoese food at its finest, paired with superb service.

A welcoming place, not very large but functional. The food is good, there's a decent selection, and the staff is attentive. The only downside is the alleys surrounding the place, frequented by very unsavory people. At 1 PM, in broad daylight, they're busy consuming substances or engaging in immoral activities (Maps explicitly prevents this from being written).

Highly recommended: we wanted to try the trenette al pesto, which wasn't on the menu, and they were very kind in serving it to us anyway. They were truly excellent 👌🏼

A simple, down-to-earth trattoria where thoughtfulness and altruism shine through. The menu is limited, but that's its strong point, as the dishes are excellent. I recommend the brandacujun!

Had an amazing dinner here. The food was incredibly flavourful. The pesto and trofie were so fresh and cooked perfectly, the fried anchovies were full of flavour, the ligurian stew felt like a true home cooked meal, and the swordfish was tender and delicate. The waitress was extremely pleasant and nice as well, and everything was so fairly priced and affordable. Truly felt like a hidden gem. Simple, amazing dishes. Highly recommend

It's located near the university area, tucked away in a narrow alley that might seem a bit uninspiring at first glance and leave you a little wary. But trust me, keep going: once you cross the threshold, you enter a whole new world! The atmosphere changes completely, the welcome is warm, and the aromas are spectacular. By far the best place I've eaten in Genoa for value. The quality of the dishes is truly astronomical at super-fair prices. 🍲 What to try: The typical Genoese cuisine and seafood dishes are fantastic, cooked with love and the freshest ingredients. Authentic and genuine flavors that will stay in your heart. 💰 Value for money: Unbeatable. Generous portions, divinely cooked fish, and a bill that will leave you speechless (in a positive way!). 💡 My Local Guide tip: Since it's a small, hidden place, but beloved by locals and students, it's definitely worth making a reservation, especially for dinner. Highly recommended. If you want authentic Genoese cuisine without frills but with incredible quality, you have to come here!

Excellent food and service! The only shame is the location of the inn. As we entered the alley, we saw about twenty rats and some unsavory people. It's a shame, especially because the food is truly excellent... but you're almost afraid to leave the place after dinner. 😕
