We stopped by almost by chance, looking for a typical trattoria, near the end of service. The staff was incredibly kind, the food excellent, and the hospitality was top-notch. It was a wonderful experience. Well done everyone!

Tucked away at the end of a little alley in Acireale lies this gem of Sicilian cuisine. I honestly had tears in my eyes from the meat sauce (and maybe a bit of tiredness, I admit). The Pasta alla Norma I had was truly inspiring. We were warmly welcomed and had an absolutely wonderful meal. *I think a part of me died right there, and went to Sicilian heaven.* Highly recommended!

We had a lovely meal in this restaurant tonight, our last night in Sicily. I wish we had found it earlier. I had the ravioli stuffed with crustaceans and my husband had the swordfish rolls. Both delicious. It had a lovely ambience. The waitress was very helpful. She suggested that I have a half portion of mussels as my starter as I was having the ravioli. I had a very generous glass of white wine, which was topped up. I would definitely return if I am in Acireale.

Family owned establishment celebrating its first year in business. The owners are a husband and wife who serve delicious food, with creative but simple flair. The pistachio cream and guanchale paccheri may be the best pasta I had in my 2 weeks in Italy, through Tuscany, Liguria, Reggio Emiglia, and Sicilia....highly recommend! The veal steak was perfectly tender, and paired nicely with a side of house fries and the rustic salad topped with ricotta salata.
One block from the center piazza of Acireale, you won't be disappointed and will be able to enjoy a scenic walk after.

What a gem of a restaurant, very lovely helpfully lady serving our table, she recommended dishes to our tastes and made our evening one to remember. Oh and the food was so good. The best veal steak ever so tender and cooked perfectly. Would we return? In a heartbeat.
