Traditional-style restaurant, very welcoming: as soon as you enter, you immediately feel a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The dishes are prepared with great care, and the starters, in particular, were truly exceptional.
We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

It feels like going to an old-fashioned trattoria, for better or worse. All the dishes were delicious, from appetizer to dessert. I would have given it four stars, but I'm taking one off because the meatballs arrived cold inside.

Seeing this place with so few customers makes me feel incredibly sad, because there's no reason why it should be this way, except that today, curiosity for the new and untried weighs more heavily than the ability to replicate traditional flavors intact. If you have a grandmother from Emilia, or have always wanted to, come to the Locanda and let your taste buds be pampered. And don't worry, it won't cost you a fortune. Lastly: don't miss the Portuguese Milk; I think it's so good it's almost tear-jerking good.

La Locanda was a good surprise. Good food and service. Fresh meals, the pasta was tasteful. The secondo also was very good, we had "Cotoletta a la Bolognese".
The owner was very attentious and explained us each one of our doubts.

Excellent restaurant, with a typical 1980s atmosphere that I really like (e.g., breadsticks, red tablecloths, Ferrarelle mineral water, etc.). The food tastes like home-made; we had the lasagna alla bolognese (the real one with spinach, béchamel, and ragù), tagliatelle, and pumpkin ravioli, which were truly delicious. The zuppa inglese, for those who love the real thing, is highly recommended. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended!
