La Limonaia Food as Culture In Torino

A pleasant discovery 🙂 Perfect restaurant! What else to add? 🙂

I had dinner at this place with some friends who had heard great things about this restaurant. I was very impressed by the beauty of the place. Particular furnishings, it almost feels like being in the living room of a beautiful vintage house. Particular but very successful combinations. The chef is young and self-taught, but the dishes convey his skill and passion. This is a demonstration that, sometimes, it is not necessary for the chef to have trained in the court of great renowned chefs. Cooking is a serious thing but passion and dedication beats any obstacle. Small note regarding the service, the evening I went to dinner the restaurant (despite the few seats) was completely full and the service was a little slow. The manager in the room and her assistant, in my opinion, were undernumbered. However, recommended restaurant!

We had dinner at the lemon house on the occasion of Buonissima, for the 4mani dinner (Cesare Grandi and Leo Righini). Space dinner: 12 courses of the highest level, without nonsense, in perfect doses and very balanced. I loved every single taste. Then I really appreciated the place, welcoming, furnished with a mix that however creates an environment of taste and not fashionable or banal. the kitchen overlooking the internal courtyard is beautiful. Graceful, kind, aware and non-hassling service. I would like to return to enjoy the tree-lined courtyard in appropriate season.

Refined food, with touches of great class. Not cheap but worth trying for innovation in the kitchen

How can you not be enraptured by a place like this? There are things you may like and others you may not... but beauty, as such, has nothing to do with personal tastes... it is! And I'm not just talking about the location, the service, the menu, the protagonists who work there... I'm talking about the emotions that an evening spent sitting at the table conveys. And it may seem strange but it will be felt everywhere, except in a restaurant. Because it would be too banal, it would be too mortifying. Thank you Cesare for the experiences you give us!

Si mangia poco e spende troppo. L’attesa infinita per le portate è fuori dal normale. Con 1 primo e un dolce abbiamo cenato in 2 ore e 45 minuti…
