A must-do experience, the restaurant is well worth the trip even though it's not in the city center. The cuisine is inventive, delicious, and truly refined. A must-try for the value for money that exceeds all expectations (tasting menu). Adorable service and a great wine list. Perfect!

A very pleasant discovery, high level service. Excellent and decidedly refined food with high level raw materials and extraordinary flavours. All in an exclusive environment and with great attention to detail. Parking nearby is also very easy. Two important details: the mini vegetable garden from which the chefs pick aromatic herbs and early produce and the open kitchen with the staff working and having fun while preparing the dishes. Practically endless wine list...

The care and refinement found in their dishes is quite unusual. I also find the location stunning. Congratulations! My plan is to return at least twice a year ☺️

I already knew La Limonaia through work experience, but yesterday I finally went to enjoy a dinner with the tasting menu and it confirmed what I already thought. Cesare is a very talented chef and he put together an exceptional tasting journey that, honestly, moved me and I will remember forever. The dinner lasted about 3 hours, but I think it's the right amount of time to enjoy the experience and enjoy the culinary journey that has several courses. I've always liked the place, in the garden it almost seems like you're not in the city. Excellent service. I will definitely return to try other dishes!

Very well-kept and very welcoming environment, very young staff. Decidedly sparse menu, very few dishes offered. Ate well but below expectations, Considering the prices of each individual course, the portions are small Very slow service. Excellent small pastries. The quality/price ratio can be improved.

A wonderful place, a restaurant with a garden of a timeless elegance a bit Parisian.....we were invited for a tasting and I must say pleasantly surprised. Excellent quality food with raw materials that are not banal but very refined, delicate combinations but with well-defined flavors, all accompanied by jazz music played live. Certainly an experience to repeat and try the excellent hand of the chef

On the advice of friends, I took advantage of the first warm evening at the end of April to have dinner at the Limonaia in the outdoor space. I never expected that, having crossed the gate of an elegant building in a residential neighborhood, I would find a large paved and well-kept internal garden, with two large tables (4 to 8 are comfortable) in beautiful stone recovered from ancient balconies, and other smaller tables, all well spaced; lush and fresh greenery, aromatic plants, diffused and pleasant lighting. The internal room is also very elegant, overlooking the garden as is the kitchen. Although there are quite busy streets just a few meters away, the silence and quiet of the garden, and the arrangement of the tables, created a "private" atmosphere for the diners. There were 4 of us and we had à la carte dinner. A round of light appetizers, I highlight the fleshy and perfect fried anchovies. The dishes are well-measured and have allowed even me, who am not a "glutton", to appreciate the excellent quality of the raw materials and their elegance. For carnivores: honorable mention to the pink deer, the kid and the hare caps. For those who love fish, the hay crusted grouper was a spectacle. Very rich wine list, staff well prepared to advise those like me who are not super experts. I don't eat sweets so I can't comment, but the ones my fellow guests ordered looked delicious. Impeccable service, discreet and very kind. Summary: a surprising discovery, there are no 6 stars otherwise I would give them. Attention, quality at very high levels, and quality has its price, which for me was fair. I'll be back, if it's available I want to try the Perugian pigeon.
