Sono srato in questo ristorante due volte e devo dire che mi sono trovato benissimo. Servizio eccellente. Personale cordialissimo. Esperienza che sicuramente faró di nuovo. Lo consiglio vivamente.

A very nice and substantial size establishment with many tables inside and outside. My preferred seating is outside tucked away along a walkway from the main stream of tourists. It’s charming back there under the umbrella covered tables. The service mainly is provided by university age students who at times seem not so enthusiastic but get the job done. As a couple we ordered Bruschetta Invernale (an enjoyable medley variety), papperdale al console (some of the best), broccolini di Angelo (excellent and unique.) Beverages of acqua, spritz, and draft beer. Finishing with caffe to accompany a superbly balanced tiramisu. The coperto charge is 2 euro per person. Total was 74 euro for 2. Our largest meal of the day.

You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. The atmosphere is so beautiful the waiters amazing and the food you can’t be beat.

Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, it’s a dish that will stay with you long after you leave. La Lanterna isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. A must-visit when in Assisi!
