I went to this restaurant with a group of friends for lunch on a Saturday during a stay in the city, we found it by chance in the street we were walking in and we decided to stop as we were a fairly large group and there was a lot place. We got to try typical dishes while some of us opted for pizza or lamb but overall we were all satisfied with both the food and the wine. The staff was courteous to our requests. There are various gluten-free options.

Very good gluten-free pizza, soft and digestible. Good seasonings and quality. Good general prices, considering that you are in the center of Assisi. Note: gluten-free pizza has a supplement of €4, first courses of €3.

Staff always available and efficient, delicious food from pizza to starters, not to mention the fillet and desserts... I was forgetting the great choice of wines, the top reds... A recommended place for everyone.

We had a pretty good pizza for dinner. Non-Neapolitan dough, not very thick. Discreet service, characteristic environment. Excellent value for money.

Muy buen restaurante de pizza local. Amable, casual, muy buena comida, buen vino y a un precio muy razonable. Tenía una pizza sin gluten que era excelente. La base era ligera y crujiente y no se sentía como mucho de un compromiso.

29/12/2024: From 12/24/2024 to 12/27/2024 - Family of 4 people. Owners, Alberto, Stefania and the little dog Milù, extremely welcoming and helpful. Family environment, clean and quiet. Excellent location for visiting the most famous places in Umbria. Well organised, plentiful and very good Christmas lunch. Highly recommended for peace, tranquility, homemade breakfasts and an excellent location.
20/11/2024: we were their guests for a day on a short weekend with a camper in the lands of San Francesco... welcomed familiarly by the very nice owner, Mr. Alberto who explained to us the meticulous restoration of the farmhouse brought back to its ancient medieval splendor..... small and comfortable rest area with electricity connection and possibility of loading and unloading water.... we booked for dinner and were struck by the kindness of the cook who offered us a gastronomic tour of local specialties revisited with delicacy and skill.... and to finish in the morning a fabulous breakfast... p.s. we purchased a can of oil produced by them which we had enjoyed at dinner on pieces of bread..... a heartfelt thank you with the certainty of a soon return... to Majora

Osteria le civette

25/12/2024: Excellent dishes, the waiting time between one course and another is partially justified by the fact that everything is freshly prepared. The cappelletti in capon broth and the lasagna with exceptional mushrooms. The venue is perfect and set in a beautiful setting. The price of 50 euros for the complete menu is certainly adequate for the offer. I would have liked to go back for New Year's Eve dinner but they only offer à la carte menus. Must try.
19/12/2024: Very nice and particular location, set in the walls of the Borgo di Citerna, truly suggestive as a place. Welcoming and well cared for internally and very characteristic on the outside. Good food. Good service.
