19/03/2024: A culinary journey into tradition, with unique hospitality (in every sense!)
I have been visiting this restaurant for some time and every time I am fascinated by the quality and authenticity of the dishes offered. The cook's culinary mastery is evident in every bite, and her solitary efforts in the kitchen deserve the deepest admiration. The genuine flavors and care in preparation are reminiscent of the true trattorias of the past, making this place a rare gem.
The environment is a little spartan but the warm approach makes the experience even more pleasant. In particular, the attitude of the handyman, who also takes care of table service, is memorable for his friendliness and predisposition to share stories and anecdotes.
However, I would like to underline that this tendency to interact, although appreciable for the aim of making the visit unforgettable, sometimes goes too far, influencing the pace of the meal and the possibility of enjoying the company of one's fellow diners. Frequent presence at the table, although driven by good intentions, could limit those private moments essential to fully appreciate the dining experience and conversation.
This mode of interaction, constant in my visits, makes me resign myself to the fact that it is an integral part of the restaurant's hospitality. While recognizing and appreciating the desire to offer a personal and warm service, I believe that a slight adjustment towards more discretion could benefit both customers who desire greater intimacy and the cuisine, perhaps allowing better management of service times.
I hope that my feedback can be seen as a contribution to further refine what is already a good service, ensuring that every guest can fully enjoy their experience, balancing warm hospitality with the right amount of personal space.
