We come here regularly when we go to Lake Garda (twice a year, most recently in September 2025) and love eating here. Friendly staff, very nice and fast service, and the best pizza in the world—where else can you find such a selection?

WOW - You can eat well almost everywhere around Lake Garda. But here at Lanterna, dining is on a whole new level. The portions are incredibly delicious and difficult to finish alone. The pizza is fantastic – enough for two people. The menus are available electronically (on an iPad) and translated into German. So everything is simply top-notch – try it out. A local told us about it, and he certainly wasn't exaggerating.

Here's my review of the restaurant experience. I haven't seen or tried the rooms, so I can't judge them. • Location: Just above Lazise, ​​on a hill, with a beautiful view and a very spacious outdoor area, ideal for summer evenings and large groups. • Parking: Convenient and very large, a great advantage, especially during peak hours. • Staff: Professional, friendly, and organized. Although you may have to wait a few minutes at the entrance, with a reservation, you'll be seated fairly quickly. • Digital menu: An interesting new feature is the ability to browse the menu via tablet. The concept is modern and functional, although a bit cumbersome because you have to open each item individually to see the ingredients. • Cuisine: Excellent and generous dishes. The pizza is truly delicious, with quality dough and ingredients. Perhaps the crust is a bit too wide, but it's definitely one of the best pizzas on Lake Garda. In summary: an excellent experience, with plentiful, high-quality food, a charming hillside location, and professional service. Recommended especially for pizza lovers.
