La Lampara In Laveno-mombello

The service was only moderately friendly. The mushrooms in the pizza (calzone) were obviously canned. I don't know if that's common in Italy, but I would have expected fresh mushrooms. The service charge was reasonable, and the atmosphere with the racing bikes was great.

It deserves an evening in company

A very good address, the pizzas are excellent (and it's not so easy to find such a good address in the area ;-)

This was my second visit to this pizzeria, again during the fantastic Ferragosto fireworks display. Thin crust pizza with plenty of toppings, very good. Easy to digest. Some pizzas are unique, like the one with polenta and gorgonzola. Friendly and fast service. The only things that could be improved are the single bathroom, the lack of air conditioning on the veranda, and the plastic bottled water.

I had lunch during the week. The set menu was excellent value and generous portions. Everything was very good.

Are you in Laveno and don't know where to eat? If you come here, you're guaranteed a great meal! Exactly a year ago, I had already been to this restaurant and had a wonderful (and delicious) memory of it. Being in the area again, I decided to return... and I was right! The restaurant has a traditional look, which is one of its strengths: it makes you feel right at home. Moving on to the food: the pizzas are truly amazing! My food memory never lies, and this time, too, the pizza was exceptional. Light dough, flavorful, and well-matched ingredients. Oh, and did I forget the prices? Very fair. Truly excellent value. Definitely worth trying!

Trattoria eccezionale, mi ha portato la cugina di mia mamma Valeria e devo dire che appena sono entrata ho avuto subito la sensazione di trovarmi nel posto giusto, location accogliente pulita e il proprietario si è dimostrato subito simpatico con noi. Eravamo in 6 ognuno con una portata diversa e tutto è stato squisito, servizio rapido e impiattamenti deliziosi. Consigliatissimo ci torneremo. Laura.

Cucina casslinga gradevole, senza slanci ma senza cadute. Un approdo tranquillo ma sicuro. Cortesia e clima casalingo.
