La Grotta Rossa Pizzeria Pub In Montefalco

25/02/2025: This place is spectacular!! The guys who work there are sociable and polite. The place is very nice and characteristic especially inside. The outdoor space is ample for both additional seating and parking. The food we tried was excellent: we stayed two evenings a few days apart: one evening we took an appetizer and we divided it in two because it was very rich in stuff including cured meats, cheeses, bruschetta and fried foods and two first courses and they were excellent as well as very abundant... and the other evening we tried the pizzas; my husband took a pizza with spicy sausage and I took a focaccia stuffed with fresh, raw tomato and mozzarella; the pizza dough is thin as we are used to in Molise but despite everything it was excellent, light, not hard, the tomato puree good and not acidic as often happens in other places and my focaccia in its simplicity was stratospherically good with decidedly quality products because the ham was sweet and the mozzarella soft and fresh... I would say the local quality-price ratio is fantastic and we will certainly return again and recommend it to those who come to Perugia.

19/02/2025: Very nice place, wherever you sit you have an excellent view to watch a match or some other sporting event. Average food but the strong point is an always effective and efficient service, the staff is friendly and approachable. Some waiters change cyclically but the selection is always very accurate as they are all always very smart. Kitchen open until 2am, another great strong point... in Perugia if you want to eat something late in the evening it is one of the few places open. Affordable price in line with the quality of the food. In summary I would define it as a place where you can always go safely without fail.
