A little place not to be missed in Porto Empedocle…. Family run with a good proposal…excellent dishes, fresh fish, friendly staff!! Excellent value for money…. Recommended!!!!

I had dinner at this restaurant on Tuesday, May 13th and I was very satisfied! Everything was good but my favorite dish was the sarde a beccafico! Simple appetizer but at the same time difficult to cook and find the right balance of ingredients. Keep it up Sabino from Genoa

Cozy place in the heart of Porto Empedocle with the room in a characteristic cave. The courses are the result of very fresh fish cooked according to good traditional Sicilian recipes. Very honest prices and service with friendly staff.

Good fish and seafood restaurant in the center of Porto Empedocle! We had a selection of antipasti, primi and secondi, and overall the food was tasty but the seafood dishes were clearly better than the meat- and plant-based dishes. The mussels as the starter/antipasto and the seafood spaghetti as primo were clearly the highlight. The pesto pasta dish was also really nice though. Unfortunately, the meat-based secondo (steak 🥩) fell flat as the meat was quite fatty and some parts were slightly tough. The atmosphere is charming, with a grotto-style interior, and the service was friendly and welcoming. The food took a while to arrive and the prices are reasonable.

Excellent fish dinner, good value for money and a very pleasant place

We went to this restaurant for dinner. The environment is very nice and the food was very good. The only flaw was the service which was decidedly too slow. After 45 minutes of waiting we asked for information about the arrival of the starter and we were told: "we have to wait, others are also waiting..." Still friendly staff.

Excellent restaurant with very fresh fish, we had the exceptional house starter with a fish-based first course which was also excellent. To conclude we made an encore of desserts because they were too good.
