Having stumbled upon lunch here by chance while visiting L'Aquila's historic center, we discovered a refined and tasty cuisine, made with local ingredients. At the end of the meal, the chef explained how he cooked the seemingly simple grilled chicken. The handmade pappardelle, topped with sheep's milk ricotta, Campostano sausage, and black truffle, were incredibly rich. The final treat, which alone deserves six stars, was the gentian ice cream. A true delight... The bill was the final pleasant surprise.

My favorite restaurant in l’Aquila. The owners are so nice and were very kind to a foreigner like me. I loved it so much I went back 2 days in a row. Pasta is fresh and local, and the lamb is unbelievable.

Excellent value for money. Four of us had lunch in mid-August, and without a reservation, they immediately seated us. Recommended.

As soon as you've decided to spend a few nights in L'Aquila, book this little restaurant right away. You might be disappointed to find out it's often packed. You'll understand why. We had a really good meal, not just the pasta dishes, and the staff was truly top-notch. Highly recommended.
