Abundant and tasty starter, overall good!

We come to Porto Ercole every year and this is my favorite restaurant ever!!! The place is very nice, with tables outside, scattered everywhere in a typical street, a village, with a view of the sea, but not on the seafront like all the others, so it really stands out from other places. The food is very good, the best spaghetti with clams in the world (as my son says!) are there! First courses and second courses essentially based on fish, the portions are enormous (we always ask for half a portion which is more than enough). Family restaurant, the wife cooks very well, the daughter, the aunts etc help and serve, the highlight is definitely IVO, the owner who is very nice, every now and then you manage to have a chat despite being very stressed! He gives excellent advice for cooking but also for Porto Ercole in general because he knows everything and everyone! I highly recommend it, simple but effective, the prices are absolutely ok compared to others! Fisherman's Cave Forever!!! 💙

A small restaurant in Giglio Porto where you can taste excellent fish, among the best I have ever eaten. The husband fishes and cooks, the wife serves... and if there isn't enough fishing the restaurant won't open! This is a splendid guarantee of quality. The dishes are prepared with 'delicacy' and skill, respecting and enhancing the authentic flavor of the raw material, with simplicity and a pinch of innovation. The service is simple and spontaneous, attentive and welcoming... from true hosts in love with the area and their work. Both the people and the food have rare qualities!

Excellent dishes, plentiful, with a terrace overlooking the sea. Courteous staff, honest prices. We had a mixed seafood appetizer brought to us (all the appetizers on the menu) and a fried dish each, two side dishes, drinks, dessert and coffee for 45 euros.

We couldn't have expected anything better. From appetizer to dessert…. plentiful, fresh and delicious. Compliments.
