I've been frequenting this restaurant seasonally, mostly during the summer holidays, for as long as I can remember. My parents took me there when I was a child, and today, many years later, I continue to enjoy it. It's a regular stop for me when I visit Sicily, and over the years, it hasn't changed. We always find incredibly fresh products, simple, authentic cuisine that showcases the flavors of the fish without ever overpowering them, and above all, the warmth of the people who have always worked there with great passion and hard work. What can I say? Try it!

We've been frequenting this restaurant for years, and it's always a positive experience. The service is excellent, professional yet friendly, with attentive, smiling, and always available waiters. The food is exquisite, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can always taste the care and passion they put into their cooking. A place where you feel welcomed and always want to return. Highly recommended!

We tried lunch and dinner.
Delicious.
The freshest fish is chosen on the spot with the owner and then prepared simply yet exceptionally, bringing out the flavors of the sea.
What can I say... it's worth the trip.
The seafood salad with "occhi di bue" (ox-eye) is definitely worth ordering.
Delicious raw, first and second courses.
Quality local wines.
To finish the meal, the sorbet is a must.
For those who love bitters, try a local herb amaro 😋

La Grotta – the food was, of course, very good. Surprising – despite the name – was the ambiance inside, beneath the giant lava boulder. Also surprising: you place your order at the fish counter right when you enter => the freshest fish.
And we've never before received a whole bag full of delicious rolls, like coperto bread. Naturally, very fresh and delicious. Overall, a special experience, also due to the restaurant's location.

Beautiful setting, fresh food full of flavour. We had seafood salad and lobster spaghetti. Best pasta dish I've had yet, the salad was to die for. Highly recommend 👌
