All very good and cooked very well. 6 of us had mixed seafood starters and 4 special first courses, especially the pasta with sea urchins, creamy like I haven't eaten in years. The frying, certainly made with corn flour, is fantastic because it is very light and super crunchy. Top place

The restaurant is located in a small village near Acireale.. Santa Maria La Scala.. a magical place.. where you can still breathe the tranquility and life of a fisherman. We ate excellent fresh fish and were greeted by the kindness of the waitress who made us sit outside at the table in front of the beauty of the sea. Highly recommended

Hey there, So you wanna enjoy a plate of freshly caught fish in a little restaurant particular to Catania? a restaurant built around a volcanic rock... the food is amazing and the wine just adds to the experience. When you arrive you can choose from the counter the fresh seafood that is on display and they will whip it up good for you!!

Excellent food, quality and flavours... We took a plate of pasta with sea urchin pulp and one with squid ink... what can I say! Among the best I've ever eaten. The place is small but delightful... With a view of the marina!

It is absolutely incomprehensible why people give this establishment five stars. For a restaurant that claims to specialize in fresh seafood, this is really bad. The different types of spaghetti taste exactly the same, whether with lobster or shrimp. The shrimp are unforgivably overcooked, completely rubbery. The taste of the lobster is destroyed. The signature salad is just a rip off. Anyone could make a much tastier fresh seafood salad without ruining it. The staff is unkempt and unpleasant, morose. Poor quality glasses for a restaurant whose prices are above average. It feels like this place is full just because it was featured in tourist guides. Or maybe it used to be better, but has now lowered the quality of service and food unacceptably.
