This is a wonderful restaurant on the water with beautiful views. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. All 5 of us had superb meals, so tasty and good sized meals.

The steak was not palatable: it was tough, gristly, and unfortunately poorly seasoned. The atmosphere was splendid, and the cannoli was delicious.

Es la segunda vez que voy a La Grolla y tengo otra experiencia excepcional. Trabajé con Laura en la reserva y el menú, y ella nos cuidó muy bien. La comida era excepcional – tuvimos una mezcla de entrantes, incluyendo calamares, sciatt, verduras a la parrilla mixtas. Y luego el besugo a la parrilla con patatas. ¡Todo fue excepcional!

Comimos aquí dos veces y disfrutamos de ambas comidas. El pescado a la parrilla y la pasta y el pescado la primera noche eran excelentes. Pero pensamos que nuestra comida de la segunda noche era aún mejor. Nos encantó el pescado frito y el filete mignon. El servicio era atento, y había una hermosa vista del lago de Como desde el interior del restaurante.

24/04/2025: It's true that it was 10.30, but for breakfast you couldn't find anything other than two croissants and a dry tart. It seems really miserable to me! They should change supplier, this poor quantity and quality. Excellent service. I returned to the bar again, I must say now much improved in terms of the supply of confectionery for breakfast. The service and location are always excellent
02/04/2025: I like Frey Bar, practical, in the right location, with outdoor service too, the bartenders are really attentive, helpful and quick. Decaffeinated coffee?! Optimal. The environment is pleasant but could do with some renovation. It remains one of my favorite meeting points with friends.
