Our children were in the mood for steak and like the better work, so they opted for Varrone from the “World's Best Steak 101”. Everything is OK, but it just lacks that little something that other restaurants (Gillis, Carcasse, Clover Grill, Trattoria dall'Oste) from the "World's Best Steak" have. It should not be allowed in such a restaurant that when ordering a bottle of Barbaresco Rio Sordo from Bruciato 2018, you are presented with a bottle from a lesser winemaker (Marchesi di Barolo) from a different vintage (2020). Reported this when paying and they resolved it well by giving a €30 discount. Plus point for the fantastic Pastrami “sandwich”.

We chose this place because the serve creekstone meats.
Staff was professional and in sync with each other. Noticed the great management and staff working efficiently to get our order out.

Basically, about as “standard” as one of these can get - expensive cuts of (quite good!) beef, excellent wine list, and all the associated things one would expect from a place of the nature
Don’t get me wrong - if this is your bag, you could do far worse…

On Saturday evening, we took the tasting menu. Excellent starters, a special mention for the truly delicious tartare
Good meat and pork as well as especially the one with caramelized onion.
One of the best meat restaurants in Milan.

Quando siamo a Milano la Griglia rappresenta il nostro riferimento ed anche questa volta non rimaniamo delusi ; una sensazione meno piacevole viene dettata però da una minor importanza contenutistica della pietanza… sarà stata una sensazione? Tanto torniamo di sicuro ….. e comunque sempre bravissimi
