La Gravara In Barrea

A really nice restaurant facing the Barrea lake. Quiet place. Fairly good food and honest prices. Highly recommended!!!!

Posto accogliente, rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo, tra le portate attesa un po’ lunga ma che in fin dei conti non é pesata.

Io e le mie care amiche di infanzia siamo in gita relax e cercavamo proprio un posto per goderci un bel pranzetto all’aria aperta. Questo posto è stato proprio quello che desideravamo. Ottimo cibo, gattini/micini carini, aria fresca e pulita, staff cordiale, simpatico e socievole. Ce ne siamo andate con i pancini gradevolmente pieni. Ps a breve la micina mamma partorirà potreste essere fortunati e vedere i cuccioli.

excellent price and good food, service not excellent but the location is worth everything

Halfway through La Gravara is a very simple but at the same time particular place. Located in front of a small beach, it directly overlooks Lake Barrea where you can enjoy not only a wonderful view but also the possibility of admiring and testing everything up close. The service of the restaurant, like the food, was excellent with abundant and delicious courses with a choice that was not very wide, but right for all palates. Amazing place right on the lake shore. We ate outside in the sun on New Year's Day and it was splendid. The food was excellent, the staff very kind and the prices more than honest, with all first courses at €10.

Relaxed lunch with generous pasta portions. Saw many ppl in ski wear having lunch here. The service is pretty good but if you don’t make up your mind the first time they come to take your order it takes a while for them to come back to you. Highly recommend the pasta with mushroom and black truffles!

Often crowded during the summer, this restaurant with sunbed rental becomes very beautiful in the middle of winter, with the lake partly frozen and snow on the mountains. The food is quite good: simple cuisine, few dishes, but everything tasty. The desserts are good, the herbal tea menu is a nice idea. American country style place: with the horses just a stone's throw away, the furnishings fit everything. Courteous and friendly service. Upon entering I felt a little ignored, but then everything went well, quickly and kindly. Very positive note: dogs are also allowed inside. Kitchen open all day.

A beautiful place visited in December with family. There is the possibility of eating both outside with a lake view and inside. Helpful staff.
