La Gramola In Tavarnelle val di pesa

Absolutely LOVED my experience at La Gramola. Massimo and Cecilia, the owners, are such a charming couple and have created a lovely gem of a restaurant. We popped in here on a whim and now I would go out of my way to return to Tavarnelle to come back. The pici pasta was so fresh and the sauce was delicious. The pork cubes blew my socks off- 10/10. The tiramisu is made fresh to order and a fun spin on the classic with homemade biscotti. The torta della ricotta was to die for- came out warm. Cecilia is the chef and she came to our table to say hello after our meal. Massimo told us about how he’s the photographer, and how they built this restaurant and created their cookbooks together. They also do cooking classes - something to add to my list for the next trip to Tuscany. We can’t wait to come back!

Went there based on a recommendation. The tartare was just mixed meat with a spoon of Dijon, the pasta tasted no different than a store bought one.

Very tasty and clean, the service is as if they have too few service staff, but still very nice and polite.

Nice service. The best tomato soup I've ever eaten (so far). Then a new dish for me slow-cooked meat that was then glazed with honey (grilled oven?!). So tender. To this a mustard ice cream (sounds incredible but sooooo good) side dish of seasonal roasted vegetables.

We were particularly impressed by the ambiance: The picturesque courtyard creates a wonderfully relaxed and romantic atmosphere, perfect for a special evening. We opted for the "Gelati" menu. The food was truly excellent – the dishes were well prepared and enjoyed by our palate. One minor criticism is that the price for the menu was a bit high. The quality was high, but for the price, we might have appreciated a little extra. The service was very attentive and friendly, which we appreciated. It was a relief that the staff spoke English. We did have to wait a little longer for our food, but the friendliness of the team made up for it. Conclusion: L'Osteria Gramola offers a great overall experience. Anyone looking to spend a lovely evening in a dreamy setting without having to watch the clock will definitely get their money's worth here. The food tastes excellent, even if it's on the high end. We would recommend the restaurant.

30% cheaper and this is easily 5 stars. Very good. It’s just a Premium price and not mind blowing. Ribs were too fatty. Tomato soup wonderful. Vegetables seasoned perfectly. Tuscan pepper beef out of flavour balance.

Chosen to use a dinner box, a truly positive experience. Excellent products, including some unique items like ancient grain pappardelle, were well-cooked, generous portions, a unique location, and friendly, helpful service. Highly recommended.

Ci hanno regalato una smart box e abbiamo scelto un ristorante vicino casa. C'è è solo da dire che tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato era veramente da 10, porzioni giuste ,tutto perfetto. Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

Posto carinissimo, personale gentile e cibo veramente buono! Abbiamo degustato vino e tagliere di salumi. Siamo rimasti particolarmente colpiti, consigliatissimo!
