La Gioconda In Cagli

We happened upon it while passing through on our way to other destinations. We asked a local lady and she recommended this restaurant. Upon arrival, a very kind and polite young lady showed us where to sit. The chef himself explained the menu and recommended what to eat. We ate very well. The only flaw was the service charge, which we thought was excessive. Everything else was fine.

Our evening at Ristorante La Gioconda was truly unforgettable. We make a point of going every time we travel to Italy and we are never disappointed. The elegance of the setting immediately set the tone for a refined and deeply enjoyable experience. Every dish reflected a profound respect for Italian tradition, elevated by creativity, precision, and exceptional ingredients. Flavors were perfectly balanced, allowing each course to shine with clarity and purpose. The wine selection was superb, thoughtfully curated and expertly recommended to enhance every plate. Hello, how come I find an excellent Spanish ham on the menu but I can't find an excellent ham from the Cagli area (Carpegna ham?)

Very nice place in the center of Cagli, very good appetizers and first courses with truffle, the meat less so, impeccable service

First time at La Gioconda: excellent location, atmosphere, and decor. Discreet, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The tagliatelle and tagliata were also excellent. If I had to make one complaint: the bathroom door (which was otherwise spotless) didn't lock from the inside. Maybe they fixed it today, but yesterday it was quite annoying for our whole group.

We visited this restaurant for lunch with a reservation. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. We chose the truffle menu, which was truly delicious. We'll be back next time.
