This restaurant was a real discovery, a culinary experience that delighted the palate. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made lunch even more enjoyable. Each dish was an explosion of flavours, prepared with care and passion. The careful presentation of the dishes testified to the passion of the chef. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend an unforgettable evening of good taste.
The price was really low for the service offered if we consider that, with the tasting menus, we ate our fill and had drinks, dessert and coffee included for just 32 euros.
I will definitely be back!

Le Genzianella is a trattoria that has stood still in time with all the pros that this entails. Rich menu for around 32 euros (depending on what you choose with a fixed menu base). Simple but very good and tasty dishes, they compete with much more renowned and expensive places. Particular praise goes to the waitress, a very nice lady who went out of her way to serve everyone and please even the most snooty and annoying customers, we really appreciated her commitment. The advice is to book because the place is always very crowded given the excellent value for money. You can't miss their white pizzoccheri from Valchiavenna, DEVASTATING.

We went for lunch yesterday, after 6 months and it's always wonderful to come back.
Spectacular white pizzoccheri, we also ate the pasta with venison ragù and penne with mushrooms: both very good.
As a second course: polenta (stringy and delicious!) and stew.
The icing on the cake is their Genepi, delicious.
We can't wait to return!

It's the second time we've passed by this place. Last year we settled for a takeaway dinner because there were no seats. Last night, booking in advance, we tried many dishes directly at the restaurant.
Excellent service, characteristic and welcoming environment, traditional food cooked and served with care. Pizzoccheri from Valchiavenna and baked pork ribs with taragna polenta are highly recommended.

Always delicious food, really worth it!!
Very friendly staff and a family environment, they make you feel at home.
Excellent service, you eat well and you definitely won't leave hungry!
The menu is complete and you can taste the typical local specialties, accompanied by a fantastic house wine.
