04/08/2024: Excellent food, we had umbrichelli with truffles, umbrichelli with Orvieto ragù and as a second course the pigeon with dripping pan, then their handmade ice cream, you could feel that it was also different from the ice cream parlors' ice cream. All very good. We will certainly return to try the other dishes on the menu, which is the result of a careful study by the owner of the traditional medieval and Renaissance recipes of Orvieto, the cooking methods and the herbs used. Chef Adler was very kind and explained the entire menu, medieval and Renaissance, to us.

04/08/2024: An incredible experience. The place is a bit out of the way and in fact we discovered it thanks to the agreement with Orvieto Carta Unica. Just by looking at the menu outside you understand that you have come to a special restaurant. Lots of ancient Renaissance and Orvieto recipes are offered that can't be found anywhere else. I would already like to go back to try many dishes that I haven't been able to try. Chef Adler welcomed us warmly and personally came to tell us the recipes. She also brought us the Umbrichelli she made to show us and the very fragrant fresh truffle of the day. We took umbrichelli with Orvieto ragù and umbrichelli with truffles. As second the pigeon and finally the homemade ice cream. The truffle umbrichelli were really tasty; the pigeon had a mix of exciting spices and tastes. The ice cream was unexpected: it took chef Adler several years to perfect the recipe and above all the consistency is different from the ice creams found around. In any case, it was very tasty (and, be careful, a little alcoholic). The only flaw: he only wanted to give us a discount if we paid in cash. It's behavior that annoys me a little. If I ever pass through Orvieto again, I will definitely come back here!
