Wow, we had such a wonderful time here. The food was amazing, and the hosts made us feel like we were in a warm, welcoming place. No sales or pushy behavior, just lovely, authentic people.
We were so impressed that we drove another two hours the next day just to eat here again. And we didn't regret it.
This restaurant, the people, and the delicious food will stay with us forever. If we're ever in the area again, or if we have to drive a little longer, we'll definitely do so. Because it's more than worth it.

A wonderful discovery. The owners' kind welcome and helpfulness are paramount. Service is exceptional, with just the right amount of time between each course. They're always friendly and welcoming. The dishes are truly delicious, from the burrata with truffle to the fennel caponata, and the delicious truffle manfricoli. Excellent wine and amari (the Gentian is worth it). The place is welcoming, well-decorated, and pleasant. Highly recommended for a lovely evening!

While strolling through Narni, we stumbled upon La Gallina Liberata... and what a wonderful discovery!
The owner, a friendly and authentic character, welcomed us, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food? Extraordinary: authentic flavors, genuine dishes, great attention to local produce and ingredients.
The location is welcoming and well-kept, the staff extremely kind and efficient.
Cuisine that tastes like home, but with that extra touch.

This was my first time at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the staff were very kind and knowledgeable. The food was superb, everything was delicious from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend it.

Family dinner in the historic center of Narni. The staff were incredibly friendly and explained the menu in detail, as it changes frequently based on the seasonal ingredients. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses, mandricoli pasta with wild boar sauce, and vegetables on the side. Everything was delicious and plentiful! The house wine also paired well with the dishes! Excellent value, highly recommended!

Un' esperienza davvero unica, sembra di essere a casa della nonna: la credenza, oggetti di vario tipo sparsi qua e là sui penseli, parte della cucina a vista, le stoviglie della nonna!! Fantastico😍
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, gentilezza e simpatia super!
Abbiamo iniziato con una bruschetta carciofi e stracciatella, poi abbiamo preso i manfricoli alla carbonara, una bruschetta a base di fegatini e farina (uno spettacolo del palato) e per concludere un dolce principessa.
Assolutamente da provare!!
