La Galea In Amalfi

We loved this little restaurant in Amalfi so much we returned a second night. Delicious seafood, salads and pasta, delightful service, nothing generic about it!

Exceptional service and food! We had the mixed Bruschetta, spinach ricotta Ravioli and the anchovy spaghetti! Wonderfully warm waitress and delicious food!

Nice place, simple and very welcoming. The dishes were very good but paltry. The salad was barely worth calling a small salad, but it cost €15. The same goes for the very paltry first courses. The service was very rude and only concerned with money. Not recommended!

On September 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM, my family of four dined at the restaurant. 1. (Food) Five stars We ordered a fried seafood squid dish, one clam pasta dish, and two seafood pastas. They were fresh and delicious, with a springy texture, rich flavor, and a rich sauce. The noodles absorbed the sauce perfectly. I can say, "The pasta was perfectly chewy and rich, with a perfect blend of flavor and sauce!" 2. (Service) Five Stars I absolutely have to give it five stars because after we all finished our meal and paid the bill, I forgot to pick up my phone, which I had left on the table. It's an iPhone 16 Pro Max I bought in Taipei less than six months ago in May. We left the restaurant to go shopping, and we were quite a distance away. Someone on the other side, whether the owner or a staff member, was able to find us in the crowded crowd and hand us our phone. Especially since the tourist area was so crowded, we were impressed by their service. We will definitely visit again next time we have the chance! 3. (Atmosphere) Five Stars The prices are relatively affordable, the dishes are exquisitely presented, and the restaurant boasts a romantic Italian atmosphere and is spotless and clean. Very good pizzas and very kind and welcoming staff. Water wasn't charged when we pointed it out, and he said it's no big deal. I highly recommend it.
