La Frottola is an institution. For decades one of the places where you can eat and drink as a couple or in company, in a traditional but refined environment, where the ancient tavern merges with the beauty of a castle. Excellent meat and excellent beers.

After seeing the very positive reviews we decided to have dinner here. Unfortunately, it must be said that there is ONLY one vegetarian alternative (dish with vegetables, polenta and cheese) which can be made vegan on request, the rest are all meat dishes. The service is very slow (probably also due to the size of the place and the large number of seats) and the prices are quite high.

If you like smoked rare fillet, theirs is exceptional

On the surface it seems like a simple pub, you would never know that the food is SO WELL 😱 superlative risotto and goose ravioli, Navarro's diamond selection rib eye is THE BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER EATEN. Try it to believe it! Happened by chance, we will advertise

Pleasant place, very similar to an English pub, with an interior that recalls a medieval inn. It's a pub with a varied enough menu to spend an evening having dinner. The staff is courteous and friendly and the prices are correct. It is located in a one-way street, in the historic center of Vigevano, not far from the Castle.

You can eat very well, try the crostoni and the truffled carbonara!

Excellent food with particular attention to detail. The meat main courses and beers are fantastic but also excellent first courses, starters and desserts. Special mention also for the sandwiches.

Beautifully furnished place, old-fashioned but very well finished. We stayed on a Sunday evening, a very quiet place for both a couple and a family with children. Super varied menu ranging from appetizers, first courses, sandwiches and piadinas and not to mention what in our opinion is the top of the range. MEAT. We took 4 different fillets, one better than the other. Great variety here too. Staff super trained and available for anything. Large wine cellar from local to super-fine. In short, go there. You won't regret it. WE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK.
