I've been coming here for years and I'm still amazed by the consistently excellent dishes paired with excellent beer and an excellent selection of whiskies.

Beautiful place, very beautiful... excellent meat, we tried various dishes, all very good and tender, cooked to perfection, the only flaw was the beer not very cold... fresh but not cold... in short, if you drink it all immediately, ok, otherwise after 5 minutes it was warm.

La Frottola is an institution. For decades one of the places where you can eat and drink as a couple or in company, in a traditional but refined environment, where the ancient tavern merges with the beauty of a castle. Excellent meat and excellent beers.

After seeing the very positive reviews we decided to have dinner here. Unfortunately, it must be said that there is ONLY one vegetarian alternative (dish with vegetables, polenta and cheese) which can be made vegan on request, the rest are all meat dishes. The service is very slow (probably also due to the size of the place and the large number of seats) and the prices are quite high.

On the surface it seems like a simple pub, you would never know that the food is SO WELL 😱 superlative risotto and goose ravioli, Navarro's diamond selection rib eye is THE BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER EATEN. Try it to believe it! Happened by chance, we will advertise

27/07/2025: Highly recommended for excellent food and wine. I don't go with my kids because it doesn't suit their tastes, but it's always nice to return for a romantic outing or with friends. The service is also excellent.
