We have frequented La Forchetta del Castello several times over the years, always on weekdays, and we have always appreciated the generous portions, the excellent quality of the food and the attentive and helpful service. Unfortunately, today's experience, a Sunday, was not up to the previous ones. While on the one hand a little more chaos on public holidays is understandable, on the other hand we did not expect such a clear drop in service. The portions were smaller than usual (although still within the norm) and the quality of the food remained excellent, but the real problem was the very poor service. There were only inexperienced kids in the room, visibly confused among the tables, making the experience less pleasant than usual. In summary, La Forchetta del Castello remains a quality restaurant, but the management of service on the busiest days should be improved to maintain the standard that has always convinced us. We hope it was just an episode and that we will rediscover the excellence we knew in future visits.

I returned after many years to eat in this place, I admit that they never disappoint, excellent cuisine handed down by Mr. Mario to the new staff, excellent service, and what can I say. After a good Sunday lunch, ending with a pleasant walk to the castle of Santa Lucia del Mela with a view of the Gulf of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands... I will return to taste their cuisine and spend another beautiful day in company. Thanks see you next time!!! I recommend it to everyone

Today I had the pleasure of having lunch with my family at the "La Forchetta del Castello" restaurant, located in the charming village of Santa Lucia Del Mela, and I must say that the experience was truly unforgettable. The restaurant welcomed us with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a family lunch. The cuisine is a real journey through local specialities, with carefully prepared dishes and the highest quality ingredients, from maccheroncini alla norma, to pappardelle with mushroom sauce and grilled meat main courses. The staff were impeccable: friendly and helpful. I highly recommend “La Forchetta del Castello” to anyone who wants to enjoy a quality culinary experience, immersed in the tradition and warmth of Sicily.

Good food and good value for money

It has been our point of reference for family lunches and celebrations for years. It is a place where you feel at home, the owners are always kind and helpful. Abundance and quality are at home; in this regard the quality has never failed, in fact they even manage to improve. It is the go-to restaurateur for those who love to feel at home and want to have lunch without ever being disappointed by the quality and abundance. Quality/price ratio 10 and praise.

La Forchetta never disappoints us, our Christmas lunch was abundant and the service from Rosario and Angela was tremendously professional, a special thank you to the whole team.

historic venue in the area, now completely renovated. the complete menu presents a good variety of tastings of appetizers, cheeses, vegetables, cured meats, tripe and meatballs with sauce. a trio of tasty and tasty first courses. the piece de resistance, the icing on the cake, were the second courses. Very tender meat that melts in your mouth. a really good barbecue, and baked lamb when you think you can't take it anymore but you make an effort anyway. drinks and wine in quantity. dessert and coffee at the end. the service present and attentive. a significant thing was finding the bathroom, at the end of a lunch with a room full of more than 100 seats, completely cleaned. you can't find such attention to service everywhere. the price is right for what is offered.
