A beautiful discovery! Place furnished with many ancient objects from our lands, extreme courtesy, kindness and attention to the customer, also great care in the times between one course and another, familiar and friendly environment, delicious food, all courses from the first courses to the crescentine to the desserts, just the flavors of the past! Characteristic place, there is an exhibition of memorabilia of various types: objects from the peasant tradition, old appliances, curious furnishings!
The food is excellent and perfectly expresses the Emilian tradition.
Courteous staff and honest prices. I recommend a visit!

It's always nice to return to Fontanina, also for the route, beautiful to drive and enjoy in the midst of the Emilian hills. Always rustic and welcoming environment with the owner always jovial, friendly and very efficient in managing the room. In the kitchen, the chef and sister of the owner always spoils us with dishes of all kinds cooked with great skill. Worthy of mention is the bill, which is always very honest, making the experience in this restaurant even more enjoyable and satisfying.

Characteristic place in the Modena Apennines with excellent typical dishes such as tortellini, tortelloni gnocco and tigelle. Great service with very friendly staff. Good value for money. Convenient outdoor parking with several spaces.

Locale tipico con vecchi attrezzi alle pareti.
Sala ambia e ben riscaldata.
Tavoli con tovaglie e tovaglioli in tessuto.
Abbiamo assaggiato gnocco e tirelle con salumi; tortellini in brodo ( ottimi entrambi , tortellini abbondanti) , zuppa inglese .
Tutto ottimo; una citazione al sevizio, in una trattoria ( ed anche in qualche stellato) non è frequente che , cond qui , ti venga chiesto ad ogn in portata se tutto era ok.
Conto assolutamente corretto.
