La Fenice In Sorrento

The food is very good. By far the best chili olive oil in town.

We arrived a little late on our first day in Sorrento, but they treated us very well and provided us with plenty of food. The food was generally very good, the service was friendly, and the price was reasonable. €49 for two plates of pasta, one pizza, a bottle of water, and two beers for two people.

Excellent restaurant, excellent food quality. A few flaws: a bit far from the center, slow service, and we noticed that the waitress at the table next to us simply turned the tablecloth over instead of changing it when the guests got up. This gave us the impression of poor hygiene.

Great food, great service and so affordable. 100% on my list of recommendations!

Decided to wait for this restaurant to open at 7pm because they claim to have wood fire pizza. The atmosphere is nice but the patio is next to a busy road. They almost seemed upset we came in at 7.00. The waiter (bald short middle age man with glasses) was very rude and border line disrespectful. Made us feel very uncomfortable. He seemed so frustrated we ordered food first and wanted to order drinks after but he never came back. Never checked on us or our food. The other waiter that was cleaning our table as we left, asked if we enjoyed our meal because I only ate a few bites of my pasta. I said it was so so because the pizza was okay but my gnocchi was awful and had no flavour. The tomato sauce was more orange than red. There was cheese in it but also very bland.

Very good food! 👌Nice service with the little extras, such as bringing water for our little dog, for example.

Lovely little restaurant, clearly very popular as there were lots of customers coming and going. Excellent selection of food and drinks, very polite and friendly staff, always keen to serve. Good was excellent and very large portions; would happily go back again and recommend!

What a beautiful place and helpful staff

We visited during our vacation in Sorrento. The food is excellent; the Milanese cutlet and grilled calamari are a must-try. Its strong point is also its most obvious feature: the feeling of being stuck in time, with paper menus, orders written on notepads, and the rustic atmosphere are all the more reason for me to definitely return in the future. Recommended!

The service was poor; we waited an hour for a piece of meat. The waiter didn't make an effort to serve us properly. We went because it's one of the few places in Sorrento that offers a separate gluten-free menu, but we thought it was a bit pricey, but the food was delicious! The fries were the best I've ever had.
