La Fagurida In Tremezzo

You really must dine at La Fagurida! My husband and I got married in Lake Como this summer and we hosted our rehearsal dinner at this lovely restaurant. We live in the US and had never visited the restaurant before, so it was a bit of a risk, but it was beyond perfect - there isn’t a single thing we would change about our experience. Lello was so wonderful to work with and he and his staff made everything so special for us and our guests. The food is AMAZING. Beef filet, rabbit, and all the local fare was absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced for our party. The food is some of the best and most authentic in the area, and the ambiance is cozy and feels like home and the view of the lake is breathtaking. I hope if you’re looking for a delicious, authentic, charming place to eat in Tremezzo, you visit La Fagurida. We can’t wait to go back on our next trip to Lake Como!

Very nice place both in winter with the closed veranda and in summer with the terraces overlooking the lake... Housed in a very characteristic stone house. The rabbit and polenta are recommended

Food was great and the staff was very nice. We couldn’t get a taxi when we were done with our meal and the owners called their friend to give us a ride. So kind! Loved it here.

It's not the first time at Fagurida and it's always a certainty, the starters are good, the polenta uncia is excellent and the meat is also excellent, the braised meat and the sliced ​​meat are excellent, then the spectacular view and the homemade desserts. A certainty from Tremezzina.

This is an amazing restaurant. The local food feel is amazing. We couldn't find a taxi, the owner found a taxi for us. The rabbit was amazing the beef was amazing, the palenta with butter and garlic is by far the best I've ever had. Servers were awesome.

Food was excellent. It took a 10 minutes cab ride ($25 euro each way) to get there from Grand Tremezzo hotel but well worth it. Prices were fair and view was great! Would definitely go back!

De loin le meilleur restaurant de Tremezzo, Menaggio et Bellagio confondu. Les plats sont fait maison et ça se ressent, c’est absolument délicieux. Le personnel est très serviable et accueillant avec une vue à couper le souffle. Je recommande à 100% pour un moment magique.

Beautiful place, but very narrow street to reach to the restaurant, small parking, atmosphere is simple ,rustic, with old kitchen furniture and objects ,also decorated with taxidermy mounts ,non very friendly for animal lovers so. Service was kind of normal waited more than 40 min for first dishes , no appetiser served ,neither digestive at the end of the dinner was suggested. Food was fine , spiedini with potatoes were tasty ,even if there was balsamic sous ,for me better not to put it on dishes but just put on the table who loves can simply add , polenta uncha was served cold ,was not bad ,but had better experience in other restaurants for polenta, won’t back to eat that even if as they call themselves specialists for making polenta,just as an advice serve it in the dish where the hot keeps longer . Tagliata di manzo again was served absolutely cold seemed they made it and was left a part and when someone orders they just serve it. Small portions of cheese plate and ham selection as well. For the price it costs I was expecting definitely bigger portions . In total not bad ,but I heard so much good about this place that my expectations were more than what we had. Not a place to return for me . In total spent a nice time with family .
