La Divina Pizza In Firenze

One of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life, and the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you are in Florence, this is a must stop!!

A small, unpretentious pizzeria, the pizzas are very good, the owner is very nice and you feel good in Italy! The glass of wine costs 10 euros, it may be a little excessive, the restaurant doesn't look like much but it's pleasant

The fact that I was the only foreigner in the restaurant and only saw locals at other times or coming to get pizzas to take away says a lot about what Divina Pizza is: a Florentine pizzeria with guaranteed quality! I was curious about going to this pizzeria, the only one I went to during my stay in Florence, precisely because it is not as popular as others but has great reviews from those who pass by, and I was not at all disappointed, quite the opposite. I always look for places that are less touristy and frequented by locals. If you are also looking for that, Divina Pizza is a must-see! In addition to the pizzas being of great quality, made with fresh and tasty products, I loved the possibility of being able to try several pizzas instead of having to order a single whole one. This way I was able to try several combinations, some good, some very good and some divine (the Chianti one, if I remember correctly, is a must!), but all of them of indisputable quality. But more than the pizza itself, what made my visit to Divina Pizza memorable was the friendliness and extreme helpfulness of the family that runs it. The Chef, who is the pizza maker, and his wife and daughter (I think that's the case, I apologize if that's not the case) who take care of all the customer service and other tasks. I couldn't leave this family-friendly place, which makes you feel at home, without telling them (in my terrible Italian) "the pizza is great and the family is fantastic". I'll just leave one suggestion regarding the restaurant's atmosphere: you could put on some typical Italian background music, just to provide that background sound to accompany the delicious pizzas :) If I go back to Florence, I'll go back to Divina Pizza. If you ask me for places to visit in Florence, Divina Pizza will be on the list. Grazie mille!

Decided to take pizza as our dinner. Order 1 round pizza with ham and 1 more 1 slice pizza with onion & truffle. Need to wait quite long time due to only 3 persons running the show and surprise the taste dam good. So far this is the best pizza that I have in Italy. Can give it a try if you passby.

Pros: extremely formal service, a strong sense of kindness stands out Cons: average taste/price ratio, does not meet expectations.

A unique place of the best Florentine slow food, where you taste and eat a special pizza, the mother yeast is decades old, the flours are made from ancient grains, the pizza toppings are created by the careful eye of Graziano who chooses the excellence of the cured meats and dairy products, accompanied by excellent wines, local beers and more. We are welcomed and advised by Roberta, with her splendid open and slightly mischievous smile... an experience that I recommend for those who want something very different and unexpected. The pizzeria has won competitions and obtained prestigious awards. Well, it makes me want to go back right away...

This is hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Italy! This quaint corner pizza shop is family owned by a wonderful couple. All of their ingredients are fresh and organic. In addition to the traditional round pizzas, their claim to fame is the ever changing seasonally dependent pizza by the weight. The daily choices are beautifully displayed and you can choose as much or as little as you’d like. I advise tasting them all since they are all such a refreshing take on the traditional pizza. I’ve never tasted a pizza as aesthetically beautiful or as delicious anywhere else!

Piccolo locale a conduzione familiare, giustamente famoso per i Tre Spicchi del Gambero Rosso. Si possono assaggiare spicchi delle loro rinomate pizze sia da asporto che al tavolo, in questo caso meglio prenotare perché i coperti sono pochi, e magari essere 3 o più così da essere sistemati nella tavernetta anziché nella saletta al piano terra condivisa con gli ospiti in coda al bancone. Tra le pizze raccomando, magari in una degustazione, quelle in pala alla romana o ripiene, in effetti delle focacce originali e creative farcite più che tradizionali pizze, piuttosto che la classica pizza al piatto. Consigliati anche i dessert, piccole monoporzioni di prelibata pasticceria. Limitata la carta delle bevande. Per i prezzi, direi adeguati alla qualità delle materie prime, altrimenti giudicate dal menù.
