Sunday for lunch, without reservation. nice experience, excellent cuisine, unfortunately the carnival period created an atmosphere that was too… cheerful. To return more calmly. Perfect welcome from Mrs. Rita and her staff.

Invited for a business lunch, in all honesty, the place seen from the outside left me a little perplexed and the interior is classic trattoria. As courses we had hot appetizers of the day (seafood) and turbot in salt, all really good, fresh, well cooked and the tiramisu for dessert was the icing on the cake. Friendly staff, average waiting times for express cuisine. I have no idea how much we spent because I was a guest but I assure you that the food was very good.

Booked last minute. The restaurant is located in the dock area, parallel to the main street of the port. Very fresh fish but I must say the portion is not exactly abundant. The service is quite slow even though there are not many tables. The dessert disappointed us a lot. Prices higher than average

Esperienza unica nel suo genere do 5 stelle perché meno non le merita antipasto di crudi tartare di triglia e tracina tagliata a coltello grossolana condita con olio nuovo fantastica ombrina all’isolana calamaro nostrale alla griglia e un omaggio … il tiramisù appena fatto complimenti alla brigata in cucina al titolare e cameriera di una gentilezza e competenza unica .

24/04/2025: Wir hatten einen dreimonatigen Aufenthalt in Lucca und haben die verschiedensten Restaurants ausprobiert. Gino war mit Abstand das beste.
08/04/2025: Bistro complete with everything, you can buy anything, from fruit to wine, very friendly staff, excellent place in Porta Santa Maria
