La Cueva In Ariccia

Discovered by chance this little restaurant is different from the usual fraschette you find in Ariccia. What can I say, everything is good. Starting with the appetizer and ending with the dessert

Very nice place in the street that leads to the Belvedere, a few minutes walk from Bernini's magnificent church. Excellent food especially the quality meat. The house platter and the sublime desserts are very good. We tried the Baba and their tiramisu. Quick and friendly service from the nice lady. Super recommended. Exceptional cave.

Excelent food and drinks in a small cosy restaurant. We ate the cueva starter for 2 - delicious and then the most tender filetto we evet tasted ! Totaly recommended !

Restaurant with few seats. It offers traditional and new dishes of their own creation, such as ravioli, which are recommended. Meat, very good. Recommended if you are looking for something of a slightly higher standard than the other local restaurants. Reservation recommended.

Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri a pranzo e siamo riamo rimasto veramente soddisfatti. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo sin dalla prenotazione fatta all'ultimo momento. Il ristorante si distacca dalla zona turistica ed assume una connotazione più particolare. Il servizio è molto curato ed il cliente è sempre al centro dell'attenzione. Il cibo è eccellente. Antipasti di ottima qualità e primi eccezionali. In particolare abbiamo provato i Tortelli alla Porchetta e siamo rimasti molto colpiti dalla particolarità e dalla novità del gusto, dimostrazione certa della presenza di uno Chef con la "C" maiuscola. Non abbiamo mangiato secondi (ci rifaremo la prossima volta) ma gustato degli ottimi dessert: Tiramisù della casa e delle favolose Sbriciolate al caramello ed ai frutti di bosco. Complimenti !!

My family and I went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch and we were really satisfied. The owner was very kind right from the last moment booking. The restaurant stands out from the tourist area and takes on a more particular connotation. The service is very attentive and the customer is always at the center of attention. The food is excellent. Excellent quality starters and exceptional first courses. In particular we tried the Porchetta Tortelli and we were very impressed by the particularity and novelty of the taste, a clear demonstration of the presence of a Chef with a capital "C". We didn't eat second courses (we'll do so next time) but enjoyed some excellent desserts: homemade tiramisu and the fabulous caramel and berry crumbles. Compliments !!

Everything excellent. We were lucky enough to discover this restaurant and it has never ceased to surprise us. We chose as first courses the tortelli filled with porchetta and the fettuccine with bacon, pecorino, chestnut, almonds and pears. We can't put into words the goodness of both. No flavor predominated over the other (I don't like chestnuts for example), but everything blended perfectly making both first courses truly delicious. We would have done the trio without any problems 😂 As a second course we took the dry-aged steak rare, PERFECT. Browned on the outside, buttered on the inside. It was melt in your mouth, salted perfectly. The tiramisu also very good. The chef was kind and courteous and we wish him and his restaurant the best!

Siamo tornati in questo piccolo ristorante nel quale si riscontra nei piatti la passione per la cucina dello chef Ermanno. Piatti della tradizione rivisitati con maestria che soddisfano i palati più raffinati. Consigliato per una esperienza culinaria non facile da trovare in altri locali dei castelli.
