A nice surprise. Quiet and relaxing internal courtyard with music playing. Excellent food with some traditional Milanese/Monza dishes slightly revisited. Kind and dynamic service with young but very professional and motivated staff.

We ate well and it is not the first time that we come to this restaurant. If you are looking for a place where they are careful about intolerances this is the right place. Excellent service.

My wife and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant discovered with the fork. The restaurant is very nice, outside it has a nice courtyard with a well-kept garden around it. The dishes are traditional Milanese, and not only. We had a parmigiana as an appetizer to share, a risotto alla monzese and tonnarelli scampi and zucchini pesto, we were satisfied. Good selection of wines. Good prices for being in the center of Monza. Young and friendly staff. The only flaw is that we waited a little, but it was worth it!

Siamo finiti per caso in questo ristorante, temendo, vista l'ora (ore 14), di non trovare più un locale aperto. Invece siamo stati accolti con calore e con ottime maniere. L'ambiente è veramente carino, caldo, il personale è molto disponibile e preparato, molto sorridente. Abbiamo ordinato un risotto alla monzese (PIU' CHE OTTIMO!!), un risotto con l'osso buco, una degustazione di formaggi e una torta paesana. Qualità del cibo buona. Con acqua e caffè, Eur 80, compensati della qualità.

Ambiente elegante, posto pulito, personale giovane ma professionale e gentilissimo. Abbiamo preso tutti la pinsa ottima, leggera gustosa e digeribilissima. Buone le birre. Prezzi un po' più alti della media ma accettabile considerando che si è in centro a Monza. Bello, spero di avere occasione di tornare e ovviamente lo consiglio.

18/06/2025: Characteristic, clean and welcoming place. Quiet, relaxing without noise, you can chat without raising your voice. Pizza: you choose the filling and typical for arrosticini, truly delicious.

06/05/2025: I always have a doubt. Do the 5 stars relate to the best restaurants you've experienced? That is, only one has 5 stars and the others must necessarily be lower? For me it's very simple: 5 stars is where I've had a great time and would return, so "Il Pollino" deserves them all. I was about to go to McDonald's since my usual lunch break restaurant was closed. Then I see "il Pollino" and I say to myself "I'm a big belly, I would say to stop eating rubbish, today let's eat healthy". The place is small and intimate. It is run by an energetic lady who is always smiling and very professional. At lunch they don't show the menu, she tells you how it used to be. I had an excellent amatriciana, a second course of grilled chicken with a drizzle of lemon and a mix of grilled vegetables and potatoes. All very good and homemade. A beautiful discovery. And the service was extremely fast. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area... to try again in the evening for a dinner with friends or with your current partner/wife/girlfriend. Maybe I wouldn't use it for a first date... but who knows! Nice work!
