La Cucina della Marianna In Griante

I went here many many moons ago and it was excellent. Beautiful spot on the water, wonderful service, and I will never forget the main dish I had. It was a tomato stuffed with a fresh sardine then grilled. I was only a kid, but I remember that it made me absolutely adore good sardines. I even enjoyed their pate and other things kids usually don't order. The pasta was also amazing. I really got to see how amazing regional Italian cuisine is.

Marianna we are waiting for you in Milan This format cannot be missed! Refined foods, both for the recipes (regional variations) and for very long processes, the result of a conscious and refined cuisine. The menu therefore, although limited, is excellent.

Beautiful family run restaurant on the water with rustic Italian cooking. A nice reprieve from the tourist scene in como. Wonderful service and very accommodating to pescatarians.

This wonderful local restaurant was recommended to us by the driver of the boat we took a tour on. What an amazing place - the view of the lake was beautiful and the service warm and very attentive. The food was so good that we didn’t stop eating for long enough to take a photo! Highly recommended - a must try.

We had a really good lunch with a nice atmosphere and a magnificent view! The restaurant offers a fixed menu from appetizer to dessert, different for every day of the week with revisited traditional or international recipes but with local products and the quality of the raw materials is high. If you want to have a lot of choice on the menu, it's better to choose another place instead of putting a negative review! To appreciate it you need to have a culinary culture and, as the chef says, be travelers and not tourists! So no tiramisu-bolognese-cappuccino-pizza-spaghetti!

Great service, great menu, amazing view!

The place is recommended. Incredibly good food in unpretentious, homely surroundings. The staff were pleasant and took their time for the guests who wanted to hear about the food. It could seem like it is a family-run generational business. It was a pleasant little chaos and not very formal. Here, it doesn't matter if you show up in shorts and a t-shirt or a dress and suit. I could eat here every day, as the menu changes every day of the week and the food was extremely good. They don't have a Michelin star, but it's not far off I think.
