The dishes are tasty and the ingredients are of good quality, and the homemade desserts are excellent. The very simple restaurant is divided between a rotisserie and a dining room. The price, considering the location, service, and dishes, is decidedly high, on par with a high-end restaurant.

We were passing through these parts and decided to stop here. The atmosphere is very familiar, not too big, we opted for a second course and it was very good, the staff was good and the prices were normal, we had a good time.

We ate well, but—while acknowledging the quality of the locally sourced produce—I think I paid too much for the type of place. A €5 meatball in tomato sauce seems truly excessive (especially since it was offered as a "taster"). The €2 cover charge (for a few slices of defrosted bread) and a plate of mostly vegetables cost €18. I also have something to say about the markup on wine by the glass. We had a good time, but—I'm sorry—I felt a bit cheated, and that's the feeling I'm left with. REPLY TO THE OWNER You can certainly find a cicchetto for less than €5 (even better), and in any case, it wasn't our request, but his suggestion. So charging him (and being expensive) left a bitter taste in my mouth. The cover charge can cost even more than €2—of course!—if you offer something extra (it was also cold in the dining room... since we have to dot our i's). I didn't question the price of the wines by the glass in general, but rather the markup compared to the cost of a bottle (<€10). In any case, his response confirms the negative impression the experience left me with.
