What a lovely surprise! We stopped in passing, and the dishes were each better than the last. A casual place that uses fresh, seasonal ingredients, with pleasant and prompt service! Highly recommended.

We ate well, but—while acknowledging the quality of the locally sourced produce—I think I paid too much for the type of place. A €5 meatball in tomato sauce seems truly excessive (especially since it was offered as a "taster"). The €2 cover charge (for a few slices of defrosted bread) and a plate of mostly vegetables cost €18. I also have something to say about the markup on wine by the glass. We had a good time, but—I'm sorry—I felt a bit cheated, and that's the feeling I'm left with. REPLY TO THE OWNER You can certainly find a cicchetto for less than €5 (even better), and in any case, it wasn't our request, but his suggestion. So charging him (and being expensive) left a bitter taste in my mouth. The cover charge can cost even more than €2—of course!—if you offer something extra (it was also cold in the dining room... since we have to dot our i's). I didn't question the price of the wines by the glass in general, but rather the markup compared to the cost of a bottle (<€10). In any case, his response confirms the negative impression the experience left me with.

A simple, charming, and yet well-kept restaurant. The owners are extremely kind and attentive. The cuisine is excellent. Homemade yet meticulously prepared. The rabbit in teccia is fantastic. Local and Trentino recipes. Excellent wines, even by the glass. Excellent value for money.

As promised, I'll take two minutes to write a review. We stumbled upon this place by pure chance, and were pleasantly surprised. We started with a spritz, also because it's the perfect base after a day at work. We continued with three different main courses. I personally had a delicious pumpkin and gorgonzola "savoury pie" on a bed of purple cabbage. My colleagues chose other dishes recommended by the owner, who was also very friendly. Needless to say, everything was accompanied by a truly pleasant Valpolicella sup.

We visited this restaurant in the evening. The service was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was authentic and seasonal. Highly recommended!
