I read the gentleman's review about the flat Spritz. I was there, and it didn't go as the gentleman described... I was sitting near the register and witnessed the payment scene, where the gentleman complained that the Spritz wasn't carbonated, but the owner replied that if he had told them earlier, he would have refilled it, but since it had been drunk, he would have had to pay for it. After this response, the gentleman became upset and started complaining. (The receipt he complained about not being given had actually been placed on the counter and abandoned there by the customer.) Even though I wasn't involved in the situation, I wanted to point this out because it wasn't a fair review for the business owner.

Every year, my husband and I come to Alghero, and over time we've found our favorite spots. La Conchiglia is definitely one of them. We're always welcomed with such kindness. The whole team is incredibly attentive and patient with us because, yes, like good French people, we don't speak other languages very well 😅 As for the food, it's a real treat! The dishes are delicious, and we always eat wonderfully. The quality is consistently excellent every time we visit, regardless of the season. It's a place where we feel right at home, which explains why we return with such pleasure year after year. The beach is magnificent. A big thank you to the whole team ☺️

Location on the sea, beautiful view, we had lunch for 5 days... Efficient and kind staff... quick in serving... excellent dishes... And what can I say about the desserts... They are exceptional!!!

A beach bar right by the sea...
1. The food.
Very tasty. I was a little worried the food would be mediocre, especially since they're practically a monopoly on this beach. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The lunch for both adults 🦑 and children 🐔 was very tasty. The portions were large, filling, and reasonably priced. The coffee was strong and invigorating ☕️
2. The service.
Very fast and efficient service. Very nice and helpful people.
3. The atmosphere.
The atmosphere is just like the atmosphere, nothing special, although very clean and tidy.
Overall, I recommend it 👍

Excellent little restaurant by the sea, impeccable food, and great value. Fantastic and fast service. I've been coming to Alghero for years, and it's always a regular stop for lunch on the beach.
