A location inside an estate that produces rice.. in a wonderful context where there is the rice rice museum which is told by a fantastic 86-year-old gentleman.. a living encyclopedia.. the tavern with friendly staff and excellent raw materials and fantastic dishes.. don't miss the paniscia..😋😋.. highly recommended!!!

Questo posto l’abbiamo scoperto grazie alla visita effettuata alla tenuta La Colombara.. al museo delle mondine.. questa trattoria ha un ottima location.. personale gentile.. cibo eccellente.. una paniscia buonissima.. come il resto delle pietanze.. prezzi ottimi…consigliatissimo!!

I went for a Sunday lunch with friends, a typical tavern environment, but very clean and well-kept. Excellent food, amazing watercolor risotto, very kind staff!! Absolutely worth trying

Tipica trattoria di campagna, immerso nelle risaie del vercellese. Personale molto cortese, servizio rapido. Ottima cucina casalinga, con piatti della tradizione locale a prezzi assolutamente corretti.

If you are looking for a quiet place, in the middle of the silence of the rice fields, this is perfect. I was passing through, on my bike, and I only stopped one night. I could not try the restaurant because it was closing night. But the welcome was perfect. They waited for my arrival and welcomed me with Marina availability. Huge room with kitchen and bathroom. Everything very clean. Very comfortable room temperature.

15/10/2025: Passing through for work I returned to this "osteria" in name but not in reality as you will find service and dishes well-prepared and served with great professionalism. If you pass through Vercelli I recommend it to you, you will not be disappointed.

Rifugio Alpe Meggiana

14/09/2025: The overall impression was very positive, more like a restaurant than a refuge. The appetizers were very good, and we ordered two main courses... it's a shame only one arrived because the other was forgotten and they didn't notice because they no longer cared about us! It's true that it was crowded, but if you want to be a restaurant, including restaurant prices, you have to organize yourself like a restaurant.
12/09/2025: Excellent cuisine, always kind and helpful staff, fair prices, generous portions all in a warm and comfortable environment. Since we discovered this refuge we have been there several times this summer and will definitely continue to return.
