Game City is the perfect place to spend a different and relaxed evening, enjoying board games, laughter, and good company. There are tons of games to choose from, and if you're unfamiliar with them, the staff is always available to explain the rules and recommend the best one for you. You can also grab a bite to eat during the evening: sandwiches and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is simple and casual, very welcoming, ideal for unplugging from your phone and enjoying the moment with friends. The food is good, and there's a good selection of sandwiches and drinks, perfect for a non-heavy evening. The real highlight, however, is the staff: friendly, helpful, and truly approachable, they make you feel immediately at ease. Highly recommended for evenings with friends, birthdays, or simply when you want to do something different.

This place has captured my heart, the Olivander of board games, delicious food, people who welcome you as if you were at home... I will definitely be back. I recommend it for evenings full of laughter and games. Gigio is my idol.

La Città del Gioco is much more than just a place: it's a place where time seems to slow down and make room for fun, company, and discovery. Here you can find over 1,000 board games, from the simplest and most immediate to the most complex and strategic, from the great classics that have shaped gaming history to the most modern and innovative titles. Whatever the group you come with, there's always the right game to try. Behind all this is Gigi, who with over thirty years of experience, kindness, and passion has created something unique. He was among the first in Milan to offer a service that was truly novel at the time and has become a trend over the years. Today, however, La Città del Gioco remains one of the very few places where you can still eat well, spend time together, and find the perfect game for any group. Personally, I owe a lot to this place. I've spent many "Happy Hours" here, just as the first place on Via Gigante in Milan was called in the 1980s. They're memories of laughter, friendships, last-minute challenges, and seemingly endless evenings. And even though getting there today requires a short trip from Milan, I can say it's absolutely worth it. In the end, the time it takes isn't even that different from the time it took to reach the historic locations on Via Gigante or Via delle Forze Armate. The difference is that back then, I was a young university student, and the distances seemed much shorter! That's why I'm particularly pleased to see that everything Gigi built with passion and dedication hasn't been lost, despite the enormous difficulties we faced during the Covid period. La Città del Gioco continues to be a point of reference for those who love being together and sharing the joy of gaming. A place I recommend to anyone who wants to rediscover the joy of truly having fun. Thank you, Gigi, for your dedication, passion, and generous commitment!!

Che dire...un pezzo di storia della vecchia Milano Ovest. La nuova sede è fantastica (anche se mi è comunque scesa una lacrimuccia quando ho scoperto la chiusura della vecchia sede)

The place is easy to get to and has two outdoor parking spaces. They are masters of board games, not only well-stocked but also happy to recommend new options. You can dine or simply have a drink with friends. I highly recommend going during the week because the place is much busier on the weekends. There's also an outdoor area, a truly pleasant and quiet place to spend a lovely evening with friends!

The amount of games is immense.. you'll find everything! And they also have gluten-free food (lasagna, toast and beer) 😀
