I've known this place for many years, and I must say they've constantly improved over time. They offer a traditional menu with excellent ingredients, innovative dishes with interesting combinations, and a very beautiful and relaxing location. The owners really make you feel at home, and they pay special attention to their customers. And finally, excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended, a 10 out of 10.

A very welcoming location, extremely professional staff, so much so that the preparation and individual ingredients were explained for each dish. From the appetizers onward, it was a crescendo of quality and the discovery of unique flavors. Dishes were carefully prepared, beautifully choreographed (like the caravella di salumi), and undoubtedly with passion. From the creamy ricotta to the excellent warm seafood salad, and then on to the first courses, the "maritati" pasta with sausage and mushrooms and the spaghetti all'assassina. And... last but not least, the dessert... unforgettable. Typical local dishes but with distinctive flavors not easily found in other restaurants. We discovered that the owner, a former butcher, is a culinary perfectionist with great passion, a combination that allows him to create dishes with unique flavors.

We had dinner at this delightful trattoria in the heart of Gioia del Colle and were enchanted. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, making you feel right at home. There's none of the formality of a restaurant, but the conviviality of an old-fashioned trattoria. The menu is a true ode to the most authentic Apulian flavors. We ordered the classic orecchiette with turnip greens, which were simply perfect: fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The highlight, however, was the grass pea with vegetables and pancetta, a typical legume that they prepare superbly here. It's a simple dish that captures the essence of local cuisine. The portions are generous, and the prices are very fair for the quality. The service is another strong point. Besides being fast and attentive, the owner is a delightful person who knows how to put customers at ease with his warmth. He clearly loves his job and ensures that every meal is a memorable experience. If you want to savor authentic Apulian tradition in a genuine, family-friendly atmosphere, "La Cicerchia" is the place to be. Highly recommended!

La Cicerchia è stata una vera sorpresa: un mix riuscitissimo di cucina tipica, accoglienza genuina e atmosfera giovane. Abbiamo iniziato con un tagliere ricco di salumi, formaggi e latticini freschissimi (menzione speciale alla burrata, morbida e saporita!), per poi proseguire con piatti iconici della tradizione: fave e cicorie, fave fritte croccanti e una parmigiana preparata con cura, saporita e abbondante. Come portata principale abbiamo scelto una grigliata mista di carne ben cotta e gustosa, accompagnata da una tagliata tenerissima. Il dessert è stato il perfetto gran finale: un soufflé al cioccolato dal cuore caldo e cremoso, davvero delizioso. La location è ampia e ben organizzata, ideale sia per cene in comitiva che per chi cerca un ambiente informale ma curato. Quando siamo stati lì, il locale era frequentato soprattutto da giovani - un bel segnale di energia e accoglienza. Un plauso al personale: cordiale, attento e sempre disponibile, dal titolare al figlio che gestisce con lui la struttura. Se siete in zona, una tappa obbligata per chi ama la cucina pugliese autentica. Consigliatissimo!

Pranzo di lavoro, scelto a volo. Scelta ben riposta, una bella struttura con aia, giardino e sale ben messe e gradevoli. Siano stimolati dal cabaret di antipasti che, quando si va per la prima volta in un ristorante, ti dà una dimensione abbastanza corretta. Tutto buono, la tartare un pò troppo fredda per essere servita, ma i pochi affettati e i tanti assaggini erano davvero buoni, si prosegue con una mia curiosità che inseguivo da anni, e forse un pò distante dal luogo originario: spaghetti all'assassinam sono piaciuti e non solo a me che non avevo termini di paragone, ma anche ai miei commensali che sono oriundi. A seguire solo una assaggio di zampina buona anch'essa. con una bottiglia di vino siamo sui 45 euro a testa, sembrerebbe un pò caro, ma è in linea con il servizio e la qualità
